Chicken Lips' ‘He Not In’ is one of those seminal records that everyone recognises, even if they’re not aware of its name or who wrote it. The bassline is an enduring sound in dance music that everyone knows, and pretty much everyone loves.

you must be 12 or something, back I the day when dis used records, the first minute of the track was usually stripped back, no bass, to make the mixing easier. virtually all records had a 30-60 second intro
I guess you have a right to your own opinions. I find the track pretty cool though (IMHO).
