When I think barbarian I think a brute with a big 2h axe so idk why you can't use one. To me that's the most fitting weapon tbh
@ItsFluidOnKick I think he's just a bit confused and so he chose the wrong name for the sub-class of his character...he's more of a "berserker" than a "barbarian". Berserkers dual wield for fast and powerful strikes, use light armor for mobility and use swords or maces rather than axes, basically they are more similar to a rogue. Barbarians use 2h axes (like you said) or an axe with a shield (like the Vikings) and are usually more powerful and have more stamina, but they are a lot slower than a berserker, and usually less smart as well. So basically he chose the name "barbarian" because he's shirtless, but he's actually just a shirtless berserker....😅😂

Map transition is amazing, only change I would make is have the particular zone music you are travelling through

The Conan Challenge if Arnold used it the movie you can use it. There is no other barbarian greater than Conan.

even once you have 5 sunders up, you can continue spamming it for fiery procs that beat HS damage + you dont sacrifice autoswing generations which means more sunders/rend even + considering you will run with less armor reduction with lack of mail/plate you will wanna opt for improved demoshout + use thunderlap consistenly
Hamstring is cheaper, and does damage in it's own right, no?
A sunder by itself when already at 5 sunders would never beat the added damage to an auto that hs gives.

no shoulder also, also fast weapons( under 2. speed, 2hs 2.5 or under) and no sword. no stamina(unless cloth) or int gear allowed at all. also no cape or no throwing dagger or gun

18:50 panic u drank the lesser potion instead of the at level potion. also be aware of any fences you can kite to a fence even if its small jump over it and get gap from mobs if u do correctly and just walk away

Fury warriors want 2 slow 1h in each hand but yes the slowest biggest hitter in the main hand

Vikings, Celts and Barbarians were actually not dumb, Holywood painted them as morons,they used all kinds of traps and tactics during warfare like pungi stick, fall trap and so much more. The swords they made were top tier with almost no impurities.
If they could get their hands on Black powder or any explosives they would 100% use it, they also crafted tools like the sun compass to navigate on waters during the day and used the stars at night, They also traded alot with other nations across Europe and even went to America, beating Christopher Columbus to it
On a side note "Barbarian" Is just another word to describe a "Champion"

Kinda turning into The get bis items mailed to you with fiery / crusader every 5 levels but act like wearing leather and no chest makes it remotely hard challenge
This is exactly how this challenge was designed before it even began. Of course, high-end enchantments have an exorbitant effect now, but that will also subside as the level increases. And you can still make it difficult, because you yourself choose the difficulty in which quests you take/ how many mobs you pull.

I mean, it does make it hard. He's basically playing a rogue without the skillset, I think you underestimate how much armor helps and how bad missing a major piece like the chest actually is. Also, remind yourself that overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer.
Yea it's more of a berserker build than a barbarian when I think barbarian it isn't dual wield but I could be wrong idk

I'm only 16 minutes into the video but i just wanted to say that Xar is really overvaluing fiery weapon at this point. Fiery weapon procs 6 times a minute on average, this means you are gaining 240 dmg a minute on average which is roughly a 4 DPS increase. Any weapon that increases your DMG by more then 4 DPS is on average better then fiery weapon.
Xeru gets hand outs then trys to kill someone 4 levels under with absolutely gear difference.
Most famous barbarian i can think of is Wulfgar, and he used a massive two handed hammer

so the challenge is really just no chest armor? Doesnt really seem like a challenge when you compare it with all the handouts

Why don't make a "Berserk" Challenge out of it? No stamina allowed on gear. Only strength/dex gigachad equipment

Why don't people want a Retail Hardcore? Some say it's impossible to die on retail... I wonder if it's possible to die on Classic HC when you can get juiced up like that?

I am trying (just for fun) the Hardcore challenge on Retail (without any Heirlooms and buffs) and i just died at lvl 40 in the Eastern Plaguelands because I overpulled too many mobs (more than 10) in the area where you have to help the Blood Elf Paladin (a lot of casters in that zone + the zombies hit hard)... so it's actually possible to die on Retail if you are not careful enough ! (and I am not a total noob but I played in a too confident way... I guess I will have to go agane....even on Retail 😅😂)
Retail is extremely easy while leveling. The damage you do is ridiculous.
I just don’t think retail is a good fit for hardcore. You can do it, but no one is gonna watch it. Especially once you have access to flying mounts at 30

Pretty much all of chat said use 2h and you ignored them in the first ep and said yeah dual wield lol. Why even ask people just say you want to do dual wield.
I thought the rules to this challenge were that once you die, you cannot start over, yet the guy who died is still leveling and yelling at you for doing PVP.
In sodas vid where he talked about the entire thing with everyone they said that the "perma" perma death was up for debate and they might do some other punishment for people who died, since alot of the streamers who are doing this are complete wow noobs and there wouldnt be enough people that actually get to max lvl to do content.
It was Miz rule that if you die, you are out, and he died right away with the other guy who pulled the mobs, LOL, yet he is still playing the game.@@XBorlaugX

new challenge guys by the way i have ony+hoh and 6 elixirs and fiery weapon so being without a chest piece has left me very handicapped..........
