abby has admitted that she was harsher on chloe literally just because she could, and she laughed while admitting it. a grown ass woman getting joy out of abusing a child is insane and there are still tons of people who give these girls shit for not wanting to talk to abby??
This Sade the same people who are okay with narcissistic, emotional, and mental abuse and who would rather have their children be taught by someone like that if it gets their children ahead.

My jaw dropped hearing Abby speak about how terribly she thought Chloe did. Personally, that's one of my favorite solos of hers.
Fr, Sophia’s was amazing but her movements were sharp and quick but Chloe’s was so smooth and flowed really well with the music, I hate that Abbie focuses too much on technique
Same! Genuinely, both of Chloe’s solos in this video are some of my favorites she’s done on the show.
I feel like almost every solo Abby gave Chloe to “sabotage” her or put her up against someone else (Another Girl, Seeing Red, Lucky Star, etc) ended up being some of my favorite solos of hers.

You said this perfectly! It makes no sense.
The reason they didn’t show up over summer…because these 5-10 year olds had to show up between 5-6 days a week every day at 4pm after a full day of school and staying till 10pm. Thats a lot to ask of an adult let alone children.
So to break the fourth wall real quick the moms were not on strike for Kelly. Christi and Kelly on their podcast have confirmed all the moms were having a sit out because of the producers due to their contracts. They didn’t say the full details but I know it had to do with money and work hours or something like that. They were trying to negotiate something that had nothing to do with Kelly coming back.
Yes, they were originally paid something like $500 an episode in the beginning before it was picked up for additional seasons beyond the “6 episode mini documentary” it started out as. They got a pay increase as a result of the sit out. I believe that it was raised to $1200 an episode after?
Let's be honest... Abby treated them like s**t since season 1. Just got worse as the seasons went on. Same way she was with Chloe...

Brad id reccomend watching the full solos when theyre availible because nobodys perfect had WAY better choreography than the show let on

Love the commentary! Also, the moms' strike in that episode was against the show because they wanted better pay, but the producers produced and made it look as though the moms were striking because Kelly, Brooke, and Paige weren't there. Anyways I can't wait for the next reaction! ❤

the protest was actually framed to be about Kelly by production, the mothers finally looked into their contracts, daily hours and years the contract required of them VS what they were being paid and refused to make more drama. It’s also why Abby was so cruel, her quote was “I realised if I couldn’t kick them out, they couldn’t leave.. so I turned it up”

According to the podcast bttb, kelly had to pretend to want to come back because her kids wanted to dance with their friends but really they had a bad contract and they were threatened by production when they tried to leave so she was stuck. She didn't want to bring her kids back, and they tried to leave several times before the big fight in season 4. Anyone feel free to correct me or go into more detail, I'm not the most eloquent but I think that's the gist of it.
Yeah they had no choice! Only managed to leave in s4 because it was a literal fight. They never really wanted to be a part of it anyway
Kendall admitted during the reunion a few months ago that she struggled with anxiety, and being that she was also a little kid of course she would have some “dramatic” moments but what kid doesn’t? Also you know a dancer is talented when they mess up but still keep going, but they do it in a way in which you can’t even tell that they made a mistake. With the history between Kelly and Abby…..I don’t think they went to school together but, Kelly danced at the ALDC back when I think Abby’s mother Lorraine was the teacher and then Abby took over. I actually think that’s where Abby’s dislike for Kelly stemmed from, and she took it out on Paige and Brooke but because they weren’t as dedicated to dance anymore. Abby’s known the Hyland’s for years though.

Abby did NOT EVER EVER EVER< 'throw a chair at Psige' ! She threw a chair with Paige in the room, which was clearly out of line. BUT she NEVER threw anything AT Paige. That's why their Court case was thrown out .
the mothers didn't actually strike because of Kelly, it was cause they weren't paid enough for the show (the editors made it look like it was because of Kelly)
