Love these detailed broken down expenses vlogs you do. Kudos to you two for sharing it to the tee on what you both bring in and spend on a monthly basis.
Before the move here to Lipa last month, Ghen and I did this as well, we had two spreadsheets, one tab with US expenses and one with Philippine expenses. Everyone would be amazed how much you can save here as well as just live simple. Advise anyone do that before even thinking of moving here. I know your a busy guy and hope to meet up soon!
PS: I noticed you been working out from the start of the video, nice abs Stan! 😁

Absolutely fantastic information, this helps us all so much. Knowing that it is totally doable to live outside of the USA and be comfortable… I am definitely thinking of the Philippines for retirement…. I think the fact that you are so kind by nature that your honesty is very comforting… Blessings to you and your family…

Thank you for sharing. At the end it just comes down to your lifestyle. Stay away from bars and your money will go a long way.

Stanley, please don't take it wrong, but for expats who have higher monthly income, they can live like kings in the Philippines, including affording many services that even rich people in the USA can't afford: a live-in maid, driver, cooks, vacations, body treatment and even medical procedures to improve your life. Paradise that even rich people in the USA can't afford.

    Thanks for this video,
Ive been getting my affairs in order to retire there. I've got My credit cards all paid off
I don't have have any car pmts.
Or a house payment or rent.
When im ready to move there tha sale of this house will be my money to live on until my SSA starts. So my cost there could the same amount there as here for me given my situation

That's really nice . I could afford living there when I retire early in 6 years. Will have to come and visit and see y'all. Maybe have you show me some houses. I seen one house you showed once for 128 bucks a month for rent. In the subdivision you live at . I think it was in the same place .

Well done Stanley ! --- No way can you live that comfortably -- and -- buy a house (!) in the US - on that kind of $ - anywhere !!! - - - It sure seems to me that a much better life is available there on about 1/3 the cost overall ? An amazing thing is that you don't have to tolerate winter weather either ? - - - Thanks for the slightly different perspective for our consideration. All the best ! ❤👍🙏✌👌👏

Thanks Stanley. Wow, HOA monthly fees are only $11 - a bargain for any expat who owns a house in the Philippines. Just to compare, in Manila, a nice condo, in front of Manila bay, the HOA fee is $50 with 2 pools and other amenities. In the USA, as a contrast, nothing is less than $100s per month. Think how much you save this way.
