- This is a first for me, I’ve never tried to do an altered sardine tin assemblage before, so here goes! A few years ago these were all the rage and lots of people were creating these majestic mini assemblage projects in a tiny sardine or Altoid tin.

I just love this piece! All of the ‘dimensional’ art I have seen you make is very impressive-imaginative, attractive, and so very well done! You just keep getting better all the time. Thanks so much for sharing! Hugs to all! PS-Tell Ian I talk to myself too! ❤

Fabby Art again Mike. Love the rust look and all ov it really. I too use sardine and tuna tins for my art. Love recycling. TFS ❤
Love this! It makes me realize the possibilities that exist in that box of 48 lidded tins I ordered two years ago, and never had the courage to alter!! They are the size of the sardine tins we have here in the USA, but have a hinged lid. I’ve been waffling between stumped and intimidated. You’ve give me ideas, thank you!!!
💕💕🤗
This has given me an idea about what to do with some of my empty cat tins - though they are round and only 2 inches in diameter - so will have to put a few of them together, either in a 2 by 2 square or a 3-2-1 triangle. I have some small people similar to the Tim ones from Pretty Gets Gritty and this would give me a chance to use them. Thanks for the idea.
Nice fun for Tuesday afternoon 🥰!!
Hey Mike, That is so good, I love how you gave it the rusty grungy look, and the resin pieces are brill they worked really well with this project, Thanks for sharing ❤
Fun sardine tin, turned out great. Did you ever try a version with an eggshell, those were the days of factory blades scrambled egg for tea. 💜🧚♀️😘@ Dark Fairy
