You mentioned putting tobacco on your biscuits and gravy. If you see a person man or woman doing that in a cafe they are probably a veteran please welcome them home and thank them for their service. In the chow hall we put tobacco on everything to at least have some flavor.
I absolutely home made sausage gravy and home made buttermilk biscuits made w butter. I never use our or crisco or lard in my biscuits. And they always end up so great. But I think my next tackl÷ in the bread department is home made yeast loaf bread. I was so scared and nervous about trying the home made yeast rolls. I did it and my family absolutely devours them. Every single time I make them. I do use the frozen yeast rolls some times. But at Thanksgiving and Christmas. It's Nana's home made everything. Cookies. Breads dressing. Baked Mac and cheese. My version of broccoli cassarole. And of course turkey gravy. Homemade cakes. Pumpkin rolls.. you get the gest of the story. I love baking. And I love to cook. And my family always has thier own requests. And I have 4 daughters and 11 grandbabies and 4 son n laws. So you can imagine how long it takes me to whip up everyone's favorite dishes for them all. One of my daughters was actually born on Christmas Day at 10am. And she gets her own special dishes and of course her own birthday cake. And I also make my families birthday cakes every year. I love it.

Darlin my paws wouldn't be able to fit in that can to push the dough out. If I even tried I look like a dog with it's snout caught in a can
