I just remembered that on one visit, I walked from Oranjestad to the Divi Phoenix. It took hours(!) and it's such a quick drive. The walk began on the sidewalk, then over to the beach passed Bucuti, then when it started to get dark, back to the roadway by the Amsterdam.
What a beautiful island.
Wow that was a long walk for you 😅 but certainly worth the views! Happy to know you enjoy the walks!

Enjoying your most recent video Eagle Beach. Brings back so many memories from August when we walked from Renaissance Marina to Bugaloe. Not bad for 2 Scottish lassies. At the end of the day we had covered 30,000 steps and consumed a few Balashi beers. Keep up the good work. Maybe we will be lucky enough to catch you August 2023.
Hope to see you too in 2023. That is a nice long stroll but with a few Balashi's it's doable :-)

Hey Hyro! We just got home early this morning. We travelled all over the island. We enjoyed every minute of our 2 week stay at the Tamarijn. Great resort and the Divi Beach is beautiful. Thanks for all your videos they truly helped us plan our trip and see all sorts of things we probably wouldn’t have without your videos.

Great video, thanks Hyro! We have been coming to Aruba for the last 9 years, and for the 1st time yesterday (on Wednesday), we saw a little turtle swimming around in the ocean just offshore from Eagle Beach...it was awesome!

I’ve recently subscribed to your channel . Your walk to McDonalds at Palm beach was all familiar. My car rental place was down past the closed Chinese store. Heading back Jan 1st. Our 2nd time on the island . Thank you for the time and care you put into these videos .

Oh how I wish I was there with you now. One day I'll be arranging a vacation for a months stay there and when I do, you can be sure I'll be giving you a call. Janet and I watch your videos regularly and talk, pretty much every day, about our experiences there in Aruba. Much appreciation for your efforts in keeping this channel alive. The audio, as you pointed out, is definitely improved over your earliest videos. Many others unfortunately haven't discovered the fix in their vacation videos. I pick up on it right away. I heard, from a little bird, that by June 2023, restrictions on airlines (Covid Test, Masks, etc) will be lifted in the US. Usually when such things happen there, Canada follows suit, so looking forward to that and having an easier time flying to and from Aruba, compared to the last time we did the trip.
Hope to see you again very soon my friend. I know it's not easy but really hope to welcome you. Will always do my best to keep coming up with new content, it brings me as much joy making them as you enjoying them :-)

Hi Hyro , just started watching your videos this week .. i love your beach walking videos . Did your family migrate from another country? Listening to you i know you were raised in Aruba were you born there as well .. i used to work with a friend who was born & raised on Aruba she was living at that time in NY in Queens . This was back in the 70's .
She was always inviting us to go with her home for a visit . Unfortunately i never did and we lost contact .. Her Family name was Emmanuel..her name was Cecil Emanuel .. i know she had 2 brothers but i don't remember their names .. have tried for years to find here. But no luck

We stayed at the Bucuti and Tara and highly recommend it. We also stayed at the Marriott Stellaris on the same trip.

Questions…does any of the Eagle Beach area in the low rise hotel area rent loungers and umbrellas? If so what bus stop? Are there public restrooms? Does any of the low rise hotels have beach drink/food service to your loungers?
Not all of the hotels do and it may depend on their occupancy. There are no public restrooms except for some bars and restaurants nearby.
Best spot on Eagle beach off the cruise ship? Beachbar, chair rental? Thank you!!
Coco Loco beach bar just next to the Costa Linda resort.
Are there any secret spots of Divi tress besides this on eagle beach?
Not that I know of.

Hello Samuel, it depends on your needs but the Tamarijn and Divi are two that I would say are the closest.
