Really appreciate the honest feedback. Love the look of this figure but can’t be bothered with the whole breaking apart thing so the Bot & Alt mode were my only concern. So knowing there are potential issues with both has me putting this purchase on hold. At $25 to $30 I wouldn’t have to even think about it but $40+ for decent…? I’m so grateful for Baiwei & BlackMamba copying these figs for such affordable prices but I still only want the cream of the crop. ROTF Megatron & DOTM Shockwave are superb. DOTM Sentinel Prime…not so much. Definitely could have skipped him so I’ll take the hint with Jetfire. Thanx again G.S.N. 👍🏿
I'm glad I could help you. Do ask your fellow collectors if they've had the same problems with their copies. It was very surprising to me that Baiwei stuff have qc issues. They're usually very thorough with their quality checks. Anyway, thanks so much for watching 😊 🙏. Keep collecting..
Baiwei shockwave sucked , baiwei sentinel and ironhide much better.
@@pravesh736 Curious, what made you dislike Shockwave? I’ve heard complaints about the color (the deep purple is what I have) but I thought this Shockwave in ANY color was excellent. Comparison with my buddy’s original version just highlighted the improvements. To be fair I did tighten up a few joints and disassembled the legs to add weight in the form of ball bearings but I considered that icing on top.

It looks like some tabs were not tabbed thats why it's flopping around, my jet mode was same till i tabbed it well. Nice review 👍
I thought so initially too that the tabs weren't fully in but unfortunately on my copy there are qc issues. Thanks so much for watching 😊 🙏
Not every K. O. From baiwei having the trouble. Some like shockwave is better than the studio series
