Art Adventure: Breaking Down a Massive Abstract Painting

In this video, I take you through my process of creating some abstract art backgrounds using a large 22"x30" piece of Arches cold press watercolor paper and a color palette from The Color Cube. I demonstrate how I paint a huge abstract painting with watercolor and acrylic paints, which I then cut up into three smaller abstracts based on compositions I find appealing. By working on multiple pieces simultaneously, I show how painting backgrounds to revisit later can inspire further additions and help bring each artwork to completion.
