  • When there is a need to reconstruct bone, an autograft would be ideal. And a vascularised bone graft would be perfect. But it is not always possible, and it entails many complications.
    We do have other alternatives, like allografts, Bone Morphogenetic Protein (BMP), Demineralised Bone Matrix (DBM), and Synthetic bone substitutes.
    The properties of all these alternatives are discussed in this video!
