Why is it every time I’m looking at a watch you do a review? Good to know it will last through an ultramarathon, I’m still debating whether it would be overkill to get a Fenix/Grit X or Vantage M. Or get the Vantage V which is in the middle, only problem is that I think the watch face is too large.
Ha. Well good thing I'm here to tell you all about the watch. Just depends on what you are looking for. For me battery life is super important so vantage m has a 30 hours battery in gps and then vantage v has a 40 hour battery lift. Vantage v has a lot of cool metrics more than the m but for 200 bucks more I can definitely live without it. Garmins have alot more bells and whistles and that fenex series battery life seems to be crazy long at 50 hours plus of course those are pricey too. The vantage series does come in a small size too but I think that's just a smaller wrist band. Look at the Polar ignite that's basically the vantage m with a much shorter battery life but still like 15 or 18 hours on GPS.
Goku Runner I’d love to try a Polar watch. I’d love to get the Grit X but can’t justify the cost. The Ignite is more of a Fitness watch, the Vantage M is right up my street but again, can’t justify the spend when I have a perfectly good VivoActive 4 less than a year old. This gadget life is hard 😂

This is easily the best review I've seen of this watch, very detailed and comprehensive. I like how you showed all the menus rather than just talking about them, a picture paints a thousand words!
Great video! Just finished c25k and can’t decide between polar ignite and vantage M. Don’t need music, or other smart watch features, but do want sleep tracking, fitness coach’ - thought I settled on ignite but just saw your video now I’m not too sure which way to go!
I'd go with the vantage m just for that battery. The ignite is nice but the m has way more features. But if a vibrant screen is something you prefer the ignite is solid too. Must less features. I really like the zone lock if you do heart rate training
- But, the hole point with Zone alarm is that you get an alarm!, otherwise turn it off with one touch!. When run in darkness it's good to know if your in the zone or not.. Its why they call it Zone alarm.

The m is nice but I do like the touch screen of the v2. If you are looking to get more metrics from your watch and want to utilize the different performance test it has you can't go wrong with the new v2. But if you only want more basic metrics without power, you probably have some kind of power meter already, the vm won't do you wrong. Nice looking watch. 42 HB? I wonder what mine is. I don't sleep well but that's because of dogs and a wife who wake me up all the time. I like the workout examples. I don't think I'd like zone warnings.
It's a good looking watch with some greate features. How did you keep that one so clean? I use my running watch as my everyday watch and it's black. Does that one come in many colors? How easy is it to swap bands? Giving workout suggestions is pretty cool.
I said in the vid I just washed my hands for 20 seconds like what WHO recommends and it stays clean 😊 yes the bands are interchangeable easily similar to garmins. Also mentioned and showed the different colors in the vid 😉 Thanks for checking out the vid. Have a great day Don!

i bought that watch after watching your good video and when i checked it for the first time it was very accurate, but than i did restart to the watch and suddenly its not accurate anymore but miss the distance in hundrads of meter even for one mile. i'm very disappointed and i gave it back to the store but here in ksp israel they dont want to replace it or take it back but they sent it to the company to check it. they really bad here in ksp. do u know what to do in this case? its got more problems, with steps counter and i couldnt even sync it to the computer.
Hi, i couldn't increase the brightness of the watch, by pressing the upper left button, it is getting locked. Offcourse if i press once that button, some light is getting on and after sometime its getting off. is that the only option? Also, is the screen touch or not?
Don't have 245 but from what I can see is Polar had an advantage in battery life for sure. Smart features and music go to the garmin watch mind you using music vo2 max and all that fun stuff will kill your battery faster. Polar more simple better imo ecosystem. If you want more smart watch features go to the garmin.

I mean it's the same sensors basically. So unless you go to a garmin they will be the same. Accuracy I found were the same between garmin and Polar. For garmin maybe a 245 would work for you or a vivoactive 4.
@@GokuRunner it looks very low resolution. The circle when loading looks like little squares arranged in a circle. I might go with a garmin 245. Same price and for what I heard same tech and better quality screen

I hate this watch. It is so hard to figure out each setting and making choices. I keep getting "paused" or recording started. Ridiculous. It should be 2 to 3 easy to use buttons with scrolling. Horrific watch. What a waste.

If you won't miss all the smart features of garmin, this watch is great because of its battery life.

Not really just regular running clothes. Hanes socks.

It is not a touch screen. Yes just press it don't hold it down or it locks. It's not super bright but brighter than the regular light.
Just when I bought the Garmin Forerunner 235... HAHA!
Good watch too! This one's main advantage is the 30 hours battery life on GPS mode.

If no... wich other polar watches provide you music capacity?
No Polar watch has music storage. The Polar vantage v2 has music controls.

Looks like they both have the same screen resolution 240 x 240. Check out suunto and their OLED watch or even the garmin venu.

Apple watch you have to charge daily fitness watches will last much longer without a charge.

I don't believe so. It's only through GPS data.

Either are good but I'd lean to the garmin 55.
