- For Whom the Bell Tolls without the main bass track and the bass solo, with the guitar and the vocals tuned to A=450 (which is what the album is tuned to).
Alternate title: What if Jason was on earlier Metallica albums?
When you have a cover band, but can’t afford a bass player
Im a bass player and this is part of my warmup so my brain tricks me into thinking I csn almost hear it
i hear the strings of the bass. not from the amp. but its hard to hear
you can hear it at 3:00
Idem
For whom the justice for all
for whom the justice tolls
and justice for whom the bell tolls
For whom the justice for cliff
So this is hell huh
For bell tolls
This is the equivalent to having a monitor with no pc
The song feels so naked now w/out the bass especially the first part of the song as well as the slides as well almost everything
1:27 there's the bass slide
I think the only reason that bass part was audible was because all the guitars were recorded with a mic to the amp instead of direct recording and the the mic just caught some of the bass part
who else hummed the bass part in the beginning
You should do seek and destroy backing track or ride the lightning
If for whom the bell tolls was on and justice for all album
Thanks for this! It works for playing bass.
Fr
Tbh, the more I listen to the song the more I Hear the bass, bc the base line is stuck in my head
...And Justice For Lightning
what is this heresy
Backing track for the basist
in my head i hear it bass boosted
Please do this but with A440
Ride the lightning but Jason took over early
Any reason why it was done in that tuning originally?
according to Flemming Rasmussen it was sped up slightly to get a tighter sound
What do you mean by correct pitch at 450Hz? 440Hz is standard and makes a lot more sense.
A couple of songs on Ride the Lightning were recorded slightly out of tune, but the guitar hero tracks are on standard tuning. This version is in the same tuning as the album
Yeah 450 is what the actual song has weirdly enough
@@wedontgiveasht was it because of the recording or where the guitars tuned up? I’ve heard both
@@rileytalerico-dovel368 It was definitely the recording. In fact Master of Puppets was tuned to 435Hz when recording so when they sped up the tape it would be close to 440Hz, they had learned their lesson.
It was recorded at 450Hz to match the bell
*In the best Thanos voice, i know he doesn’t say this line* After searching far and wide… finally… I found it
Triple H WM 27
Poor cliff
i have a request. but first thank you so much for correcting the pitch!!! Could you do the same thing fotr "slow ride" by foghat?
Could you do Dyers with no bass ?
thought I heard bass power chords
Aun le falta ponerle un poco mas a la afinacion amigo
Thanks.
thank you, all i founded is FWTB backing track in std tuning
What do you mean "correct pitch"? This is the "wrong pitch" if anything... Just say original pitch or don't say anything. People want to search for the "correct pitch" as in 440hz, not 450hz
Why would it be "wrong pitch" if it's the actual studio pitch? Also anyone who knows enough to want the 440Hz version won't choose the version that clearly has 450Hz in the title and description
@@wedontgiveasht Then you should state original pitch. I'm just pointing out this is confusing
This feels so wrong
Plug your bass and play!
