- What an amazing season, there were so many talented acts, and of course the two finalist Darci Lynne and Angelica Hale. Congratulations to Darci Lynne for winning this year’s competition, a multi-talented young lady. We also want to congratulate Angelica Hale for her performances and story of survival, she’s also a talented young lady. Shout out to everyone who participated during this season and we’ll see you next season.

I feel the same way, I was praying that either darci or angelica would win . I think angelica will end up in vegas too. I almost felt like they were a part of my family. thank you guys for all the reactions you showed us.

Some reactors and commenters don't get that you can appreciate and be in awe of both of them without talking badly about either one. Her microphone was not the problem. Listen to the line and you will realize she started with the wrong phrase. a great performance anyway but then that is live T.V.

Yes, if you listen closely, she began to sing "Anything (I) can do (you) can do...." when she was suppose to sing "Anything (you) can do (I) can do better." then she stopped until the reply came in "No you can't"..."Yes I can"...but overall she did good. Personally I voted for Angelica to win but I'm fine with Darci winning.
After Angelica... singers in AGT2018 will need to keep their bar higher.

Guys, you should watch Terry Fator solo. He really went light so that Darci could shine. He is the most amazing ventriloquist I've ever seen and he impersonates too. He's the absolute best!

Darci is the 3rd Winner out of 12 seasons.
To help answer your question about if three people are singing.....Solo (Soloist): 1 person..Duet: 2 people...Trio: 3 people...Quartet: 4 people...Quintet: 5 people...Sextet: 6 people...Septet: 7...Octet: 8...Nonet: 9...Decet: 10 Duodecet: 12..(There is no word for 11 people). I hope this helps you out for later reactions, banters, discussions.

Angelica peaked too soon. She should have reserved her whistle notes in the finals as element of surprise and would have blown almost everyone away just like what happened after her performance of 'Clarity'.She should have sung 'Symphony' in the quarterfinals; 'Clarity' (without whistle notes , just high notes) in the semifinals ; and then 'Without You' (a more polished version plus whistle notes) in the finals. That would have gotten her more votes and she could have won. To those who are saying that Angelica is overrated and there comes a talent just like her every year in AGT, you must be delusional! I have never seen or heard an American KID singer who can whistle! Many of those popular and highly paid American ADULT singers can't even do that! Even Bianca Ryan who won AGT 2006 and was 11 yrs old then can't touch her! Angelica's vocal techniques are far more advance than hers. And to those who are saying that Darci's talent is unique, oh puh-lease! Haven't you watched her intro in the finals where they showed kids who want to be like her and now learning the art of ventriloquism? Many were already quite good and will be like Darci sooner than you think. Uniqueness, my foot!
This is the definition of irony. You're calling people delusional if they say that Angelica is overrated and not unique, and then you trash Darci for the same things, just like you have in comments to some other videos. Why tear down the winner? It's a bad look. You could just stick to praising Angelica. And you're not even speaking truth about Darci. There is NO ONE else like her, except for Terry Fator who is FORTY yrs older than her. I think that Angelica is amazing and there is almost no one else like her, but Bianca Ryan and Celine Tam are close, and Jackie Evancho was perhaps better.
I actually love Darci as a ventriloquist. But to say that she is unique while Angelica is not is too much a stretch! Sorry, I don't buy it!
I'm glad that you are at least saying this now. I've seen you downplay Darci's talents elsewhere. Read what I said: Angelica is almost as unique as Darci, but not quite. I listed people as proof, while you cannot come up with anyone like Darci. I highly doubt that you can watch Jackie Evancho at ages 9-10 on AGT in 2010 and keep saying that no one touches Angelica's level. That's not a slam against Angelica, it's just reality. Jackie is one of the best & most successful AGT contestants ever, who also finished 2nd btw. Look, Angelica was amazing, the best singer by far this yr, and she will sell many more albums than Darci could ever dream of. But again, there's no reason for you to talk down about Darci not being so special/unique or ventriloquism not being difficult - flat out not true and also introducing unnecessary negativity to what should be a moment to be celebrated, for both of them.
Jackie Evancho is an opera/classical singer while Angelica is a pop singer. Two different music genres requiring different vocal training and techniques. You can't compare the two. It's like comparing apples and oranges.
Ha, well it's a much closer comparison than Angelica and Darci, yet you were so quick to compare them and concluding that Angelica is more unique/special than Darci! But now you say you can't compare 2 10 yr old girl AGT wonder singers at all! Unbelievable that you can't even admit that Darci and Jackie Evancho could be as talented as Angelica, just in different ways. Can't argue both sides: if you confidently say that Angelica is better or more deserving than Darci, then others are allowed to say that Jackie is as good or better than Angelica without you claiming "apples and oranges". But, if you say that Jackie and Angelica cannot be compared, then hold yourself to that standard and leave Darci alone about her uniqueness and talent. Either way, wouldn't it be much better to not sound bitter and simply just celebrate your fave and not speak negatively about another amazing act right after she won over yours?
