The only thing that’s come close to killing him when he still had his immortality was getting rid of his soul or Chastiefol’s Fossilization. Heck negate his regeneration and it’s possible to end him but those are very specific situations
Meliodas winning this fight was a great way to show his demonic marking, but not to be a nerd or anything, ban should’ve been besting him the whole fight with or without his magical ability snatch. Everyone’s power level and it’s sub categories is revealed by Merlin at the end of this arc and Bans physical capabilities far surpasses meliodas, and it doesn’t matter how strong another fighters magic is (not counting mages) because ban completely counters it with snatch by removing their strongest stat, physical. 50% ish of meliodas’s power level is divided only into the spirit category for the sole purpose of containing and controlling his demonic states, his magic and physical I think are split evenly or his magic could be stronger. So it literally made no sense as to why meliodas was besting ban the whole fight.
Just imagine the destruction that would have come to pass if Escanor took part in this tournament. Probably would be so prideful he wouldn't even use a fake name.
