Well I don't think they actually had planned to make a prequel at the time of FE 6's development. If so, they would never have killed off a badass like Hector.
I would probably get my own copy. I'm also hoping to get my own copy of some of the Ace Attorney games (I can't call them the Phoenix Wright games anymore because of Apollo Justice *pout*) but that's another matter...
