My best buddy, gone five years today, and I, used to sing this together on our front porch swing.
Missing my dear husband, we barely had twelve years together, but what an adventure!

My parents sang this song together during our happy times. We moved from Nebraska to the west when the Second World War began so the song became their reality.

Hello Annette, I just heard this song after my aunt Bertha died. The tune came into my head as I was awakening on Oct. 30. I knew that it was not a song that I had heard so I called my mom and It was from 1919. I thought that my aunt Bertha could have sent it to comfort me in my sorrow. Have you ever had anything like this happen to you? Frances

I am looking for a recording of this song put out in the late 50's by Marion. That was the name on the 45 record. It was an instrumental.

You gotta broaden your spectrum, there are so many songs that have amazing singers who really do put all of themself into the music. Maybe it's a bit different from this, but it's the same result no doubt.
