- This was our first drift event with the notch. It was a little too hooked up for the chase on some of the local dudes, So I freed it up and it was doing much better. Still dealing with some pump duration tuning, so you'll see some fireballs everywhere. But we think we got it managed. Track was a bit patchy, but the weirdest thing is the lack of smoke. Not like its a bad thing, but its looks silly haha.
Thanks to BC Racing for being pumped on me building something different and exciting. Also have to thank Scotidi for the angle kit help, and Link ECU with Panic Wire for making this super complex motor run and be easily modifiable.

The sound of the eco boost reminds me of a 13b mixed with an SR20, sounds awesome.

I’ll jump on board with a lot of the other comments, I genuinely enjoy the sound of the ecoboost. This is definitely a build I’m always looking forward to seeing progress on. I have a gigantic soft spot for fox bodies. I also appreciate the amount of knowledge you have on generally everything and you share it with us. Great work man

Thanks for putting up the footage! I am glad the notch did well at the track. I will be adding angle and an hydro ebrake to mine over the winter so hopefully I can get some seat time!
Seeing the flame pops on this thing is awesome! Love seeing the progress of this build and can’t wait to see what else Chelsea has in store for it! Can’t wait for the next round of FD!!
that engine soundtrack is nice. didn't know these could sound that good. gives me redblock vibes sound wise. also its 2021 Mr Denofa, hardline plump your boost solenoid. :)
I don’t hardline them as I run rubber mounts and shit. But 3an lines are in its future.

love the content and the support for the EcoBoost platform. I'm getting ready to tune my 16 EcoBoost and seeing you test these motors at the limit is definitely something making me more excited to play around with it. The car is so sick.

Loving this little project with the eco boost engine. Not sure about the Fox body but being from the UK it's not a chassis I've ever seen before. You are making it work and it's a bit of a shredder. Well done Chelsea great series looking forward to more.

Ever since I saw the first video about this build I thought about putting one into my RX8, decided to wait until you got to testing before I pulled the trigger. The sound is close the the 13b but the HP/$ is a lot better. After seeing it rip I think I’m going to attempt the swap, would love to see you ripping it some more though!

That thing rips dude !! Got a general idea of where to start with rear spring rate on a gutted stock drivetrain hatchback ? Trying not to go true coil over and make this divorced shock and spring setup work as well as you’re making it work !

Thats sick.. That thing just drives forward. There is a dude who built a tube chassis fox drifter, but it had so much grip he said he had to run 205's w/ 400hp i believe it was. LOL. Outta EU or somn.

This is inspiring. If i can get into drifting it will most likely be in a mustang because they are cheap and easy to find. Probably spend more on coil overs and tires than the initial car cost lol

I would love to do a 2.3 eco swap in my notch as well. Do you have any tips and close ups of all the parts you had to fab yourself for fitment? I know motor mounts will need to be fabbed for sure but curious if I'll get in over my head trying thos myself. Thanks for any advice in advance, love the car!

What exhaust manifold is on the car-factory style or tubular. Sounds like all the integrated manifold turbo 4 bangers. It sounds like a mix between a gen 3 vw ea888 and a sr20 in my opinion.
