It was my pleasure. Sometimes I’ll take of 3” but 4” is my ideal amount. You can take off as little as 2”

The tutorial is great, but i am struggling at the beginning. On the video you measuring waist and it's about 18 on one side. I am new one in sewing, so for me it should be 18*2=36. But how did you get 26 on measurement?
For someone strangling as was me. I think I got it.
She measured her actual waist of her body and was 26. That 18*2=36 on video, is for practical view. You need to measure your body waist and move this measurement on rubber. I did same for my sport pants and it worked for me
Helpful, and to the point! I don't know why I never thought to mark my elastic with notches 😅
I mark it with pins, feel like notches would degrade the elastic sooner than later.
