In the 1970's my dad had a fishing boat out of Oceanside Ca. In 1975 when JAWS came out I usd to take clients out to see if they could spot a large Great White. I took them around San Clemente Island. and even in calm sea a few got motion sickness.

I was 11 when the storm hit. I remember it quite well. Oct 26 1991. I just celebrated my 11 birthday. At the old Bonner Bridge in Cape Hatteras. Where were you when the ship hit the span...i will never forget. To everyone that lived and died through the storm of the century. ❤ the Tamaroa was the coast guard vessel.

I love how you can pick out actors in movies from other movies. It's one of my things as well but I hardly see reactors do this.

Sad that this is based on a True Story. I live in New York but I remember that storm as a little kid because we had a lot of beach erosion. Crazy to think this happened during that storm! Good choice in movies!

I was in the Navy heading to Canada when this storm came together. We were with a half a dozen foreign warships and one ship's hull cracked. Our ship lost some lifelines. We turned south and got t'f' out of Dodge. Sleeping in seas like this use to make me sleep like a baby. They were further northeast of us on the other side of the storm.

@@HabitualCinema Correct. Sable Island, part of Nova Scotia. A propane tank, some fuel drums, an EPIRB, fish finding beacon, a longline beacon and some assorted wreckage were found washed ashore on the island's Southern shore.
More wreckage was identified at sea, including more fuel drums, a survival suit, an uninflated life raft, and other miscellaneous wreckage

Your honesty in confessing that you have already seen a lot of movies and that's why you don't react to them is appreciated, because many have seen them and simulate, in the reactions, seeing them for the first time and it shows. You have seen The Rock, Con Air, Cliffhanger, Face Off, Total Recall, Lethal Weapon saga, Die Hard saga, Terminator 1 and 2, True Lies, Air Force One, Independence Day, Bad Boys 1 and 2, Volcano, Dante's Peak, Twister, Backdraft, Point Break, Heat, Demolition Man, Speed, Gone in Sixty Seconds, Swordfish, Thelma and Louise, Black Rain, Black Hawk Down, Gladiator, The Thin Red Line, Hannibal, ?, which have been very popular action movies in the 90s and early 2000s.

Thanks, I definitely don’t want to deceive anyone. I have seen some of these but I do have total recall, terminator 1&2, lethal weapon, die hard, Air Force one, Dante’s peak, point break, black hawk down and Hannibal (and red dragon) on my list to watch. Red dragon will be the soonest of these 🤙🏻
