@@roseblue_ they listen when they feel like it… Other times they ignore the rabbit and kill her in mafia or when she tries to get them quiet. I know two rabbits that try to lead chaos- JiU and Solar.

It was great seeing them all dance to Love Shaker as I’m glad that Handong and Gahyeon were given parts to dance to.

They still have the skateboards! Last time I checked (from the fans that visited the DCC building and shared pictures of it online), you can see some of them on display in front of the building 😊

It is surprisingly easy to learn. During the concert, once I finally recovered enough from shock to get off the floor, I started dancing and singing along, and I was horrified to discover that I knew all the choreography and words somehow. It’s a virus. /lh

I personally rlly love Love Shake. The song itself gives me instant serotonin boost, but it’s also rlly emotional cuz it reminds me of all the things the girls had to go through to get to this point

Some fans keep on saying that dc hated or they were traumatized by minx era but I never heard them say any of that. I think dami and others just found love shake cringe because of the cutesy styling and lyrics but hated or traumatized by minx as a whole? I don't think so. Siyeon just felt sad because of the failure. As far as I remember, they loved performing wdyctmh and action. There's even a minx ballad that some of them still sing in their lives from time to time. Been following them since they were minx.

I agree 💯 Some fans do not realize that Jiu and Siyeon have been roommates for 11 years, and Dami was their roommate at some point and they have a poster of Minx in their room. Minx was a difficult time for sure, but traumatic? If it was traumatic as some fans believe, they wouldn't have the poster to remind them everyday.

Well I would say she is a little less bright but still every bit as technically capable if not more so, so she should be fine.

Mariah Carey lost her whistle note, as a consequence of aging (plus wear on the vocal chords). I wouldn’t be surprised if Siyeon also lost it
@@electrictroy2010 Yoojean (from Korean rock band Cherry Filter) still has her whistle, and she's late 40s now. Granted, they haven't written a new song in a while I don't think. I just know she was featured in BTS RM's solo song, but there she didn't do her signature whistle in that song.

Love Shake would not be legendary and loved now without Dreamcatcher's whole journey to get away from Minx. it's a big paradox. i think we all tried to bury the Minx past with Dreamcatcher but now i love that it's a celebrated horror story. haha

I'm so glad they decided to do this. Maybe it will finally put to rest the rumors that the members were suffering from some Kind of PTSD because of Minx. Sure, there was a rough patch between Minx's disbandment and Dreamcatcher's debut, as expected, but it wasn't like they suffered irreparable emotional damage from it. They bounced back fairly quickly.
Gahyeon and Handong often tease the other members and joke about Minx and you know they wouldn't do that if they thought it would really hurt them. JiU even has a Minx poster in her bedroom at the dorm. As we've seen in numerous videos they all laugh and joke about it. There's even video of Siyeon from their Fly High era, in her Fly High outfit, singing and joking about a minx song. Even in this video we see Siyeon randomly singing a Minx song.
Yes, some members cringe every time someone mentioned Minx, but believe that's mostly out of embarrassment because of the hyper cute concept than anything else.
So, yeah, can we now stop making it sound like our girls suffered years of immense emotional pain and suffering because of Minx's disbandment? If you pay attention and cut through all the drama, you can see our girls are much stronger than that. They, for the most part, outside of the cringe factor, bounced fairly quickly.

Yeah, they literally announced the disbandment of Minx and the rebranding to Dreamcatcher on the same say. I believe they broke the news to the members the same way as well. As you say, there was basically no down time.
Not to say that there wasn't any uncertainty during that period. It was an entirely new concept with a genre that wasn't very popular in South Korea and they had already failed once. But, like I said, they recovered fairly quickly, once DC started gaining momentum.
I hope I'm not too greedy if I want an OT7 Love Shake Special clip after they are done with their Fairytale one....pretty pls...
