Black man was stopped by the police for 'some reason'.
The final reason was silly, the man was suspected of being a 'bad guy' and they have the 'pow-wah'. :)
Police in Hong Kong are allowed to check anyone’s ID.
don't be fool its hong Kong law and police can ask u to see your id ok

The police officer did give a reason at the end. So basically there was an incident with a black guy & a motorbike earlier that morning, and these police officers just wanted to check if this was the same guy because he is black and happens to have a motorbike too(?) So taking the earlier incident into account and considering there probably aren't many black males riding motorbikes around Hong Kong I think it was quite reasonable for the police to do this stop & check.
What the police could of done better was maybe explain the situation earlier on in the conversation as to why he was being stopped, so the guy wouldn't think he was being unnecessarily targeted.
Also Hong Kong police can always be more friendly when interacting with members of the public, to locals and foreigners. After all they are public servants and a bit of politeness can go a long way.
They probably told him the reason a couple of times before this video even started. He was being a billigerent asshole though so they probably stopped answering his repeated questioning as to why he was stopped.
Typical entitled guy pulling the racist victim card. HK police can stop anyone, get your facts right it is not illegal. Just because you are black doesn’t mean you get special rights or pull the racist card. Also, misleading title as they haven’t arrested you.

The Hong Kong do not have to give any reason for checking any people ID.. thats the rule and should be follow, Not because you black.
Yea no offence but like in Hong Kong there is a law allowing them to check anyone's ID. They don't exactly have to state a reason for the stop-and-check unlike places such as the USA. I know this is a weird law but it only happens cuz Hong Kong used to be a British Colony and it follows the law of Britain. However, British law has changed over the course of these 20 years. Hong Kong is a very slow developing country and laws take 5-10 years to pass cuz the government's just trash lol. To be honest, the police in Hong Kong should learn how to speak English more fluently since it's nearly impossible to communicate with anyone other than the local people. I am 12 years old and I speak 5 languages. In my opinion, police in Hong Kong don't exactly need to speak 5 languages like me but should at least be able to verbally communicate with at least 3 including, Mandarin, Cantonese (A dialect of Chinese) and English. These are the 3 most common languages in the city with Mandarin and English being the most widely used ones in the entire world. One of the main reasons the police in HK are inadequate in English speaking is because they attend Local schools. These local schools don't really push English as the main language unless you go to the most elite ones such as DBS. Most international school students never end up becoming police officers and become lawyers, doctors etc. The lack of English education in HK is appalling, and should be one of the major points the government should work on. Haha this is Hong Kong. Cantonese is there Primary language. They dont have any reason to use politcaly correct english terminology.
