My cousins a hair dresser, and her & all the girls st the beauty shoppe always swear by rich colours & medium/short length locks when we get older, bc it makes you look wayy younger. They always say long blonde hair washes us out and makes us look older. Figures, I'm long & blonde now, after being a strawberry curly/wavy blonde all of my life. LOL
Katie has the kind of face that really suites hair worn 'up' , it has something to do with the proportions of the face plus strongly defined cheekbones. That kind of face can look drawn in and older if it is framed by long strait hair. Most women that look good with pony tails or other 'up dos' tend to really suite shorter hair styles anyway. I always thought her best look was when her hair was full at the front with a thick - high tied pony tail to shoulder length.

I am not suggesting she has a middle aged helmet style bob. There are so many different types of lovely bobbed styles out there. Most of us dark haired people go grey eventually and it is partly nature's way of telling us to go lighter. It's more flattering as we age.

I think it's a mistake for women to have their hair coloured very dark. It invariably makes them look older. Black or dark brown always does unless it is your natural colour

yes but that's the Ombre effect? ...in fact it makes a change too from solid colour, I love all her hair shades on her tbh but it's great to have a variety of shading from time to time, this ie. is the Ombre , ps yes she did suit when she had shorter hair too , few years ago, she's lucky in that she can suit long or short /all shades too. Always soul refreshing to have a change and it always looks great regardless. ps, what a Fantastic salon ! Obviously 'hair health' -wise, itd be wiser to use wigs like Kylie J/KimK do, but ..I would imagine that's quite hot on the head and more of a daily lengthy faff too, - extensions do of course sadly entirely destroy the health quality of your natural hair and would require a v short cut underneath to eradicate the strand damage. either way THESE LOOK FAB.

This bloody hair tech makes me wince every single time.. is your hair is super short and damaged she shouldn’t be putting them in and out all the time.. wether you sign forms or not damage is damage and any good salon wouldn’t do it fullstop.. it’s 400 strands a time because the ends are thinner than my patience nothing to do with your thickness. Also next time the salon owner wears PPE let her know to do it properly. They should also have masks under the visors. I love katie but this whole video was bloody shocking
