Dear Allan Bruks AB 👍👌👏 Simply fantastic! WOW, what a strong beast. And, AT LAST in such a video, a very professional operator/loader who feeds the hungry machine in a perfect way! Congrats! Thanks a lot for making recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards luck and health.
Now thats how a chipper should work . No stoppin and starting like some do . Cat engine power . Too . Harpers in scotland had 2 of these things model 36 . They could chip some wood like . One caught fire and the other is just used in norbord cowie nowadays . Not like years ago when they went out to jobs and trucks moved the chips in curtsinside trailers . Long hours but gd times mostly
Looks efficient/speedy enough yet due to quality of logs thought it might be a paper mill. Was one in Johnsonburg, PA enroute to my grandmother's; quite stinky:(
Yes, used as wood (biomass) fuel in a combined heat and power plant. From the energy in the wood approx 30% will be electricity and 70% will be heat warming houses and industries in a district heating system.
I'd say he's good but up here in Canada we gotta say that humans good because it could be a he, she, hermaphrodite, transvestite or even a frog . We just dont know anymore
Hello Roger! That is a good remark but it is the other way around. The energy in the burned diesel fuel is just 0,57% of the energy content in the woodchips that is produced. The dieselengines consumption is in average around 130 liters/hr and the production is approximately 100 m3s/hr (m3s=solid cubic meters) of wood per hour. Energy content in diesel is roughly 9,7 kWh/liter = 9,7 x 130 = 1261 kWh/hr and the energy content in the woodchips are 2200 kWh/m3s = 2200 x 100 = 220 000 kWh/hr. This gives 1261 / 220 000 = 0,00573 or 0,57%
надо было мебель сделать из этой древесины, двери, окна, а потом, готовое изделие в дробилку пускать... порода то хоть ценная? ну что б не гонять такую технику ради дешёвки какой нибудь. ...молодцы...

The pure mechanical force at play here is unbelievable. These machines are beasts!
I’ve watched a lot of chipper videos, wow, this one is a beast
Boys and Girls....THIS is how you operate a chipper to be at its most efficient. A great operator and an engine correctly sized for the job.
Dear Danny D.
👍👌👏 Exactly what I thought instantly too! AT LAST a professional loader, that was about time!
Best regards, luck and health.

Thing is a beast,
Is that being burned as fuel I see a smoke stack

Glad it’s not going to waste
No hopper or trailer to catch the saw dust....?
I think this video is slightly sped up
The operator is keeping up, but only by being awfully handy with that thing.

Wow that operator needs a bigger grapple machine so he can load more at a time cause he’s quicker than most and that chipper don’t even grunt

I dread to think how much fuel that thing burns in a day, probably equal to what the woodchip produces, so where's the point of it all.

Seems like a waste of good wood to me.
What a waste of wood...could be put to better use
We have alot forest for our population size so no shortage of wood.
And its not wasted, its burned in a powerplant for both electricity and heating.
How is sawdust used for heating and electric?
