Great video!
Thanks!!
really good lesson
Informative and I have the same guitar - the 12 fret version!
damn this is so helpful thank you so much, learned so much from the different iterations all over the fretboard for the same chord that after 8 years of playing i learned so mucch from your 14 min video!
So happy to hear that!!😃
I tried that pencil in my hand technique, and it fell thru the hole, my fingers cramped up. Very beautiful chords Emil. Mahalo
Haha 😄 happened to me too! Thank you my friend!
3:45 ---> :-) Always sounds great. :-)
- Inverted Pedal Point.
Not keeping 1 bass note and changing the chords above; PedalPoint
but keeping 1 note on top that doesn't change while underneath
chords are changing.
.
Thumbs up + subscribed.
🙏☺️
Beautiful lesson!
Thank you!
This is awesome Emil thanks so much ur my best tutor ever u really gifted
Thank you!! :)
Dang Emil, where were you when I started playing guitar 45 years ago? Oh, yeah, just a gleam in your father's eye. I subscribed to ProGuitar in late 2020, just haven't had much time over the last year to get in there, but finally had some and just watched three of your videos - Back cycling, secondary dominant / flat-five subs and diatonic chord subs - along with this one and I understood what you were doing! Now if I could just get my brain, fingers, and Maton to co-operate. Unfortunately some of those chord fingerings are beyond my hand's capabilities, especially wrapping my thumb around to play the 6th string like you, Joe R. and TE do. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge. If you ever meet up with Joe Robinson here in Nashville, TN, would love to see that show. Cheers from Doug.
Thank you so much for the kind words!! Really appreciate it and thanks for watching the videos!!
45 years of guitar! That's awesome!
This reminds me of "Chet Baker's Unsung Swansong" by David Wilcox who plays it in an open tuning. Perhaps you could discuss this in another video and maybe treat us to your arrangement. Thank you for amazing intimate knowledge of this instrument and your willingness to share all of the hard work you've put in to acquire that knowledge. You are in a class all your own!
Wow I’ll check that out! Thank you so much!!
What a beautifull melody. You have share a unique chord. But so sad, my English is poor, I could not understand all what you have explained.
A great lesson. Massive amounts of content --- could have been seven lessons.
this is so hard.
Very cool and beautiful, but you need octopus fingers 🐙🤭😅
😄
So called complex voice leading music theory effortlessly debunked in minutes.😂❤
you lost me
