    Dang Emil, where were you when I started playing guitar 45 years ago? Oh, yeah, just a gleam in your father's eye. I subscribed to ProGuitar in late 2020, just haven't had much time over the last year to get in there, but finally had some and just watched three of your videos - Back cycling, secondary dominant / flat-five subs and diatonic chord subs - along with this one and I understood what you were doing! Now if I could just get my brain, fingers, and Maton to co-operate. Unfortunately some of those chord fingerings are beyond my hand's capabilities, especially wrapping my thumb around to play the 6th string like you, Joe R. and TE do. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge. If you ever meet up with Joe Robinson here in Nashville, TN, would love to see that show. Cheers from Doug.

    It helps alot

    This reminds me of "Chet Baker's Unsung Swansong" by David Wilcox who plays it in an open tuning. Perhaps you could discuss this in another video and maybe treat us to your arrangement. Thank you for amazing intimate knowledge of this instrument and your willingness to share all of the hard work you've put in to acquire that knowledge. You are in a class all your own!

    3:45 ---> :-) Always sounds great. :-)
    - Inverted Pedal Point.
    Not keeping 1 bass note and changing the chords above; PedalPoint
    but keeping 1 note on top that doesn't change while underneath
    chords are changing.

    Thumbs up + subscribed.

    What a beautifull melody. You have share a unique chord. But so sad, my English is poor, I could not understand all what you have explained.

    How many more years (ears?) will it take me to look down at the fretboard and say the chord name without even thinking? Or say the most convoluted chord name and pkay it immediately?
