how to Install Laminate Flooring over underfloor heating mat video

Hi Everyone ! Another video from How2D2 this time I'm fitting a Laminate Flooring over an under floor heating mat. This floor is a Balterio 9mm thick. Underfloor heating mat is a Prowarm brand and laminate go straight on it. The mat is only 2mm thick and i have a 12mm insulation board under the mat. Hope it helps ! 7:05 I noticed the flooring move, when we did it as a couple we used the kids lego as there 1 cm as packers :D worked wonders.

this is great thank you for sharing! can I fit a laminate floor on top of existing vinyl floor? I have underfloor heating and not sure if I should remove the vinyl floor and screed, or if its ok to lay on top of the vinyl without massive impact on the heat coming through?

Do the foam insulation boards you place underneath act as underlay for the laminate flooring? Or do you need underlay on top as well?

Don't you need to put another underlay on the top of the underfloor foil mat?

No, not with the electric Prowarm underfloor heating. It sits on top of the Prowarm underlay (2 layers I think)
