I passed the L3 selection process and interview December 18th 2019. Greatest and proudest moment of my life. The selection day was very exciting as much as it was nerve racking. I was lucky enough to be in a group of just 5 people that day. We all broke the ice before the group task to make it less awkward. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Hi, if you meet their requirements for grades thats absolutely fine. If you do have any experience on top of that, think of it as a bonus and advantage. It’s good that you are getting good marks online. Just keep practicing and hopefully you will pass the selection process. All the best!
Great video, mate! It definitely helps a lot in terms of the entire selection process. I am currently studying Aviation Engineering at university (BSc) and apply for one of the CAE MPL programmes after I have finished my studies. Hi, yes it is an academy/school for those who want to get trained to become a pilot! When I referred to experience I was referring to having come experience in the aviation industry as it would give a better insight into the industry. Hope this helps

Hi Raihan, I’m from Kazakhstan, and I really want to join L3harris ATPL program, but I have some questions if u can help me? 1.for a non-EU resident myself to study in UK I need to get student visa ,but what happens after finishing training, do I need to get EU resident permit in order to work in an airline? Or can L3harris help me get a airline job that doesn’t require EU resident permit? I’m just worrying after finishing my training and not getting a right hand seat job. Looking forward to your reply, thank you very much!
Hi, very good question. Unfortunately I don’t know the answer to this. You can speak to the L3Harris selection team. I think after you finish and apply for a job you will have to apply for a work visa and technically it’s not related to L3Harris but would be related with the airline you work with! Hope this helps
Because of brexit you won't beable to work in the UK, but you can get a temporary student visa and L3 will help you find a job outside of the UK in another EU country. Maybe if the pilot shortage returns they'll have to start helping new pilots get work visas, but that's a big maybe. Good luck
Hello, my son passed the first stage and second stage of CAE Oxford Aviation Academy, and also passed the versant English test. He participated in the third stage of the interview a few days ago, a total of 30 minutes, first introduced himself, and then the interviewer asked him Why be a pilot? How does the plane take off? Did you participate in teamwork? Have you become a leader? He felt that he answered well, and he felt okay. However, it turned out that I failed the third stage of the interview and retake the exam after 3 months. Can you tell me what might have gone wrong during his interview? Thank you very much!
After my gcse I went to collage but after a year I realised that i wanted to become a pilot. I've done some research and most people say having an A level will increase your chance of passing the 1st stage. Just wanted to know if this is true and what should I do to have the same advantage.
I definitely think it’s important to complete your A Levels. A Levels prepare you on how to tackle ground school as it is so challenging. The study routine you make in A Levels will definitely help for ground school. People who don’t complete A Levels have a lower chance of succeeding
@raihansowdagar ok thanks for the information i don't have the gcse to do a level maths and physics should i just do other a levels which are irrelevant for pilot course or just try my best on the selection process?
One last question captain, are you worried about finding a job after graduating and how long do you predict it will take in the current climate? I assume it’s going to be a few years before aviation recovers, but then again a great pilot like you has nothing to worry about 😃
Hopefully we can find a vaccine for covid and then everyone can get immunised. But honestly speaking I’m not worried as I know the aviation industry will pick up very soon. People are itching to travel the world and so many senior pilots are retiring meaning for places for junior pilots
@@raihansowdagar oh okay, also were the questions multiple choice? and now they don’t use joystick for aptitude tests, so should we use a computer mouse or something?

Hi, yes it is an academy/school for those who want to get trained to become a pilot! When I referred to experience I was referring to having come experience in the aviation industry as it would give a better insight into the industry. Hope this helps
Bro are you a British Airways Cadet pilot?
Hi. I did my cae stage 2 assesment 2 days ago and I did not receive my results, meanwhile some people are getting their results in the following days. (I got this information from forums but im not sure if thry are uoto date. I just want to know how long does it take to get the results)
Hello raihan. What kind of questions are given in the group interview?
Hi Shahnid, unfortunately I cannot reveal the questions and the questions change all the time. I advice you practice your talking skills and you can possibly find some questions online. Hope this helps!
hi what if am from very far country like kenya and the cost of travel is expensive and you are not sure about if you can be selected
I'm from Nepal and I wanna get in cae oxford. Is the stage 2 selection process same for us? Do we have to give test too?
Will this work with Leading edge aviation?
If you want specific help with leading edge aviation selection process you can send me a dm on IG @pilot.raihan or email me @ pilotraihan@hotmail.com and I can help you further
Good luck
@@idkffeijfefej Got it! Thank u so much!
Thank you very much!
was there a physics exam involved in the entrance exams?
After my gcse I went to collage but after a year I realised that i wanted to become a pilot. I've done some research and most people say having an A level will increase your chance of passing the 1st stage. Just wanted to know if this is true and what should I do to have the same advantage.
I definitely think it’s important to complete your A Levels. A Levels prepare you on how to tackle ground school as it is so challenging. The study routine you make in A Levels will definitely help for ground school. People who don’t complete A Levels have a lower chance of succeeding
@raihansowdagar O, thanks for the information, but is it still possible for someone with just gcsr and no A levels to succeed on the course?
I don’t know anyone who has joined without having A Levels!
@raihansowdagar ok thanks for the information i don't have the gcse to do a level maths and physics should i just do other a levels which are irrelevant for pilot course or just try my best on the selection process?
Can you be louder turned volume up and your still quite but good video
Thank you! I will definitely take this advice for the next time I create a video
Where is this school at and is it really from oxford as in the uni
is this for students who want to join oxford aviation academy or pilots exams for people who wants to apply for Job
Hey! Can I apply for cae or Harris if I have an Indian citizenship?
Hey, I was thinking to apply to the integrated atpl program of CAE but in Madrid. Do yo know if the admission process is the same?
I’m not sure! Why not have a look on the CAE Madrid website!
For the gcse maths and physics questions is foundation or higger?
I would say definitely higher
What GCSE and A level grades do they require?
You can have a look on the respective websites
Hi, how difficult would you say the FAST section of the assessment was?
It is quite difficult and different from the one that you can find on Skytest.
Which one is more expensive
Have a look online as I believe the prices may have changed!
so we do not have to prepare for physics for L3 HARRIS for the selection day exam?
When I did the L3Harris assessment I didn’t do any physics exam! Please check on the L3Harris website to confirm
@@raihansowdagar oh okay, also were the questions multiple choice? and now they don’t use joystick for aptitude tests, so should we use a computer mouse or something?
is it must you visit the school for the interview
No, did my selection about 3/4 months ago, got in!!! So exited but all the assessments and interviews where online for me even though I live in the uk. I think you can choose if you want to do it in person or online. Good luck if you apply
Hi mate I'm planning to be a pilot but I dont know the full cost of start to finish in the cae course please could you let me know the approx cost
I believe the prices may have changed since I started. It’s best to have a look online on their website
Hi, what A levels did you study and how were your grades?
hi i currently 14 and want to apply for cae when im 17 . anything i could do currently to help me prepare?
Hi, great video!
When did you apply for the courses? Do you have to apply at least 6 months in advance before you are able to start?
Thanks
Hi thanks for your nice comment. I applied last year! Once you pass the selection process you can join as soon as they have an availability. That could be within a couple of months. But due to the coronavirus situation I’m not sure exactly how long it will take. Hope that helps
I will complete my high school this year and I am planning to join l3 Harris next year, is there any suggestions you would like to give me? I am from India and applying there so any tips for tht?
Just be yourself and make sure you practice in advance and don’t be too worried! You will be fine
Brother, i am a Bangldeshi. How I could join there as a foreigner
Hi,
Yes you definitely can!
Thanks 😊
How do they check your school grades? Do you need to bring certificates?
On the first day of the selection process you have to bring in all your school certificates and a form of id
Raihan Sowdagar thanks for the Clarification Raihan, I’ve applied, fingers crossed they might give me a waiver as I have a D in English
what happens if u fail?
