Tried doing this with a macro /cast cheap shot /use 13, and for some reason, it works with the pvp trinket, but the Turbulent Vial of Toxin, for some reason, get's CD, but the buff dissappears instantly. . . That's a strange bug :P My thoughts were, that doing MfD and Vendetta in stealth, would give you more time to do the damage. Great video btw. Still thinks Assa suffers too much under the wounding poison/deadly poison dilemma in pvp.
I wasn`t concentrating on my garnison so much. Since i am only lvl 2 with my Garnison, how long would it take me "approximately" to get one of those trinkets? :)
Tried this yesterday. Works awesomely in BGs. Lots of dead Ally not even releasing corpse just going "WTF??" Hahaha I found I was still able to be effective with damage even after popping all these CDs. I macroed cheap shot, vendetta, primal gladiator versatility trinket, marked for death, death from above, vanish, envenom, mecha-blast rocket, evasion. Every 2 min I can kill almost anyone I want.
You can try vanish after the first hit of dfa, while you still in the air. Sometimes it grants the 50% bonus from night stalker and you won't leave stealth, then envenom again.
Just as I'm looking for an assassination guide youtube sends me a notification about this :) What two specs are best atm? I have most experience with ass and I used to pve with combat a bit. I'm torn between all 3 though

Hi Sativ, got a question for you regarding this: Won't it be better to CS->Rupture->MfD->Vendetta->Envenom->Vanish->DfA? I'm switching the Envenom and DfA. Math wise, shouldn't it do more damage? Also, by the time you do your Envenom, the target is not stunned, and the target could maybe get away (eg disengage). If you do DfA while target is not stunned, they cannot get away that easy?
Hey, i noticed you arent actually in stealth when you vanish, but I assume that you still get the Nightstalker 50% for the 2nd Envenom from the "enhanced stealth" vanish gives you??
What addons do you use? Im a begginer rogue and i would love to have this on the middle of the screen that shows you how much Combo Points do you have.
one thing(i dont mean to put this down) a better combo would be is to gain 5 combo points vendetta do a normal envenom vanish then do death from above. you then gain a bigger dmg bonus to death from above due to the stealth dmg on top of the death from above bonus. so as to get a bigger crit from death from above instead of 2 lower envenoms you do a decent envenom and then a great Death from above. (sorry if this dont make sense its late and im tired) EDIT: SORRY BIG MISTAKE my combo dont work due to the envenom from DFA not being the first thing that hits from stealth

For BG Fun. Get Greater Draenic Agility Flaks. Agility Potion Mastery food Full party buffs Zerker And the rest of what he said - > profit I think this can work to some degree in arena. While you will never have the control that you get with Subtlety's Shadow Dance and Subterfuge, maybe some teams might get caught off guard by a rogue that isnt in RedBuff KS mode and is actually doing damage. I really wish some rogues would try playing Assassination at a high rating just to prove a point and stop being so fotm. I'm not good enough nor am I on a server or surrounded by people that I can play with to try this. I mean there are so many rogues streaming either combat or subtlety every single day for 50+games, even more. Lot of them playing on alt rogues. Like try it at least for entertainment sake. Hell, Reckful at the start of the season was doing pretty damn good with Mutilate. Granted things have changed a bit since then but not that much. Hell Muti got buffed if anything.
What I don't seem to understand is that Vendetta grants you 100% crit from Envenom, Mutilate etc but it doesnt say anything about DfA, and even if It did count for DfA, shouldn't that bonus be used from the AoE you give when using DfA?
Oh :( But doesn't enhanced crimson tempest increase the damage players take from your poisons? Because if mastery increases poison damage and envenom is increased by mastery then I must be missing something if its not affected. #Dirtydancinnz
Man i miss being able to do things like this in PVP before blizzard ruined PVP in legion with templates and also taking away our gems, enchants, trinkets, and set bonuses. Its just not fair that PVErs can do and use all this stuff and still have there part of the game untouched yet PVPers have to suffer and basically have no end game fun time anymore. I hope to god they fix PVP in the next x pac (BFA) and get rid of templates and give us back the ability to use our gems, enchants, trinkets and set bonuses, PLEASE BLIZZARD IM SO BORED IN LEGION!!!
have you ever tried 2 assasination rogues in arena? I mean, two players of the same class have never proven to be a good shot but i can imagine this could actually work since u basically hit 60 off his hp in the first 2 seconds. Now two rogues in smoke would kill everyone without a bubble/block/det etc.

What would you consider using? the on use trinket with 61 agility or 136 mastery? I know its agility above other stats, buts its quite alot of mastery gained! Input appreciated guys!
Death from Above does and envenom at the end. Its not just the damage+50% of an envenom, its an actual envenom+50% damage, animation and the 20% damage buff aswell.
could you not just vendetta,vanish and death from above to get an envenom +100% bonus damage ? then you can just vanish again and envenom from stealth + mfd and enve nom again out of stealth
You would only get the 50% damage buff on the AOE part of DFA since as it states DFA is a 2 part attack and as soon as you do any type of attack you leave stealth.
***** it should be better right now, dfa was buffed between then and now i think, maybe not but i know it was buffed. It still hits hard but you wont see 80k+ every time.
from my own experience , when is start the macro on mage, usually after cheap shot or next move, he IceBlock... screwing up with your macro... Hunters use deterrence , or pally pops bubble... shadow priests goes into dispersion etc... usually only a fool lets me do the whole macro on him...
daniel backs I actually thought of this as well and went ahead and made myself this: #showtooltip /Castsequence reset=14 Cheap Shot, Rupture, Use 14, Vendetta, Marked for Death, Death from Above then I have a separate macro for the vanish stop attacking envenom: /stopattack /cast Vanish /cast Envenom after that just spam mutilate but yeah its not hard to just learn which buttons to press instead of using this macro as they won't be stunned 100% of the time

Stevie Janson Look on Wowhead under the effects 'Enhanced Crimson Tempest' and you will see everything that is effected by that spell.

When do you use envenom twice? Don't you just use it once after you vanish?
