Sort of feels like the review stops halfway, would’ve liked to have heard a conclusion after it starts to feel “doable”. When the score popped up I was shocked it was already over.

The graphics are good, they're intentionally going for that slightly uncanny look. It's like criticising Celeste for not having up to date graphics XD
The game actually looks kind of looks worse than 2, I really don't like how bright everything looks
And I prefer the retro graphics from the first one over these next two. Kind of like if Celeste had low texture basic 3d graphics, it probably wouldn't seem as appealing either.

The 2nd game was more beautiful, but I think the reason 3 has these graphics is because of its more cartoony, Saturday morning vibe.

I couldn't get into Runner 1. I loved Runner 2; it was an almost perfect game. Runner 3 is pretty fun, but I don't like the vehicle sections.
How difficult is 3 compared to 2?? I absolutely love 2 and thought the challenge was perfect for me
Looks like so much fun. I love this series, it's so creative and addicting. My thumbs started moving involuntarily watching the gameplay. Going to wait until it releases on Steam, though.

Just got the game. Music is great, looks great, plays great on the switch. Get it when it's on sale, though. I got it for $10! It's worth $20 though.
I like the esthetic for 2 the most. I didn't know this game had already came out. It was on sale for $1.99 on switch so I grabbed it. Only all the games.

I do not understand why everyone is surprised with a 7. Yes, the game is a fun romp through music-filled levels with few flaws yet it has nothing vastly interesting about it and is quite a standard sequel in the runner line up. The absence of many cons does not automatically mean that the game has a lot of pros. It's not great, it's not bad, it's just good.
Some one who actually played the Runner games should have rated this. I don’t know if he did but the rating kinda shows it. I mean I have no clue what made it a 7 instead of an 8.5 at least

I played this for a few minutes. It didn't click with me. I liked Runner2 so much I platinumed it. The only thing I hated about 2 was the bullseye section which they brought back for 3. 3 feels dull compared to 2.

I love this game i got it on sale for $1.40! Best cheap game ever I think it's definitely worth more than the $5 asking price in the eshop! With the voice acting, graphics, great controls and varied game levels...how could you complain...

Other platforms' controllers have known delay issues and there's no meaning trying to play such games on them.

A very half assed, lazy review. Very few flaws were highlighted in great detail and the game was pretty much only praised, with the exception of a few minor complaints here and there. From they way he was describing it, I'd have expected it to be an 8/10, so when I saw the 7 I was a bit baffled. Maybe it's time to bring in a new set of reviewers IGN...

Get a PC and you'll be able to play most things. It's also been backwards compatible forever.
Runner 2 is also on ps4 and the xbox 360 version is backwards compatible on xbone.
