Thank you Helen I was surprised and pleased to see you pop up on my feed today. Loved the box too, the little shelf was lovely, I think I would put spell jars lower down and the crystals on top especially a tower as you said 😁
Yes, I've released this one a bit later, but I didn't want to release them all at once. So it gave you something to watch this week. I've used the shelf for my working spell jars on my Altar with crystals on it aswell. It looks beautiful 💜💜💜🌛🌕🌜💜💜💜
Great box .. I love the rolled candles . You can warm them in your hand and unroll it a bit and put your herbs and oil inside .. . I was cleansing my Rose Quartz Pendulum . It's new and I as with the Tarot cards have not worked with them before . .. Scrying and Divination I have stayed away from , but I am putting my toes in the water .. And By the way you and Baba Yaga have won the day . I set up her space on my alter .. Yes she would not take no for an answer .. I asked Danu if she would be open to it and I got back a very positive energy . I so agree with using your own spells .. I can not use another's invocation or incantation . It has to be my own.. Its such a personal thing ... Oh and I have a new Palmstone on the way a Moonstone .. And with it being a Moonstone and so lovely .I named her Helen.. hugs xx
Oh, WOW, I'm honoured to have a moonstone named after me. Thank you 💜💜💜 I have a black and white moonstone palmstone that I love working with. I knew you would end up working with Baba Yaga. Have you thought about making a Hut ? 💜💜💜🌛🌕🌜💜💜💜
@@goldenwolfhm I was going to make one to go with your Baba Yaga but the shipping would be near impossible.. I think I might do a water colour painting of one .. My space is limited so a painting would work better in my space ..
The information about the candle snuffer was interesting. I've always felt like gently extinguishing the flame with my breath was the catalyst. I give of myself (my breath) to carry the intention.
Always work with how you feel works best for you. As everyone is different in their practice. That's the beauty of Witchcraft 💜💜💜 Sometimes I will blow out a candle as it suits my intention, but I mainly snuff mine. 💜💜💜🌛🌕🌜💜💜💜
@@goldenwolfhm It's probably because growing up, birthdays meant blowing out candles and making a wish so I guess I still associate blowing the candle out as sending out my wish kind of thing. I've never tried snuffing the candle. I guess it's because I associate snuffing with stopping the fire (camping), an end. I'm so weird. If I can find a snuffer on sale or from the thrift shop, I'll give it a try.
I think it would’ve been nice if this box had a little do it yourself kit of the beeswax sheets/wicks rather than the ready rolled ones. I know you can unroll them to add herbs/oils/powders I just think as they are so simple to create yourself it would’ve been a fun DIY kit. I recently went through every single bit of my witching supplies to take inventory & I seriously don’t think I will need to buy a single thing for two years! So I’m going to try to stick to a no spend on those items until I genuinely run out. So I will be living vicariously through your lovely videos Helen 😉♥️
I did some digging and it seem a possible answer to your question about when did coloured candles and colour magic in general came from the time of alchemy .. Seems colours were very important ... And for folk witches or witches who were medical practitioners the humors had different colors .. The alchemist put different elements in the fire and different elements turned the fire different colors , Carrying over to the colour candles . ..as a representation of the different elements in the fire ... I hope that helped . That is about all I could find . lol So it seems we might have Nicolas Flamel to thank for that .
To add to that, The earliest evidence of colored candles dates back to ancient Rome, where candles were often made from tallow or beeswax and were used for both practical and religious purposes. The Romans used various techniques to color their candles, including dip-dyeing, which involved dipping the candles into a dye bath to create a gradient effect.
Since the moons are universally directed, I turned the shelf the other way and hung it on the wall. I thought of the point of the shelf as a grounding point. I tryjng to find someone to make a brand of my personal sigil. If can find someone, I will brand the big space on the shelf with that mark.
Oh, that is such a good idea. I hadn't thought of doing that. I've stood mine at the back of my Altar to hold my working spell jars with some crystals 💜💜💜🌛🌕🌜💜💜💜
Fabulous box, I love the cheeky smile you do when you pop your little things on your shelf, always a ray of sunshine xx love your videos x
Thank you so much 💜💜💜🌛🌕🌜💜💜💜

I am obsessed with clove. I eat, drink it, burn oils made of it, and simmer pots full of it, cinnamon and cardamom. It warms my soul.😂❤
Ohh I love clove aswell. I can smell it now ! It's such a clean smell. 💜💜💜🌛🌕🌜💜💜💜
I am in love with the white candle! Thanks for sharing, Helen! ♥
It's beautiful isn't it 💜💜💜🌛🌕🌜💜💜💜

For the little shelf, i really like how the wood grain looks kind of like a candle flame
Oh yes I hadn't thought of that 💜💜💜🌛🌕🌜💜💜💜
I think that assetic is called cottage-core but I am unsure 🤷🏼♀️ I always like seeing the magical stuff on the shelves behind you though! 😍
Thank you. I keep adding to it ! 💜💜💜🌛🌕🌜💜💜💜
