- Ever the fan of challenging myself, I ventured into the mountains with an old school loadout. Polish Lavvu, Norwegian Army M53 rucksack and plenty of wool.

The Norwegian forest is beautiful.😊
Absolutely, especially when I get to have it all to myself!
Well done buddy for sleeping without a sleeping bag, great video 👍
Thank you, glad you liked it!😊
The night scene was beautiful. The blue light with the roaring fire! Awesome work Jon!
Thanks brother! Really happy with how it turned out👌
Another amazing camp Jon! I admire your knowledge and skill and the way you challenge yourself to try new techniques. Keep it up! Atb Anthony👍👍👍
Thank you Anthony, always so thoughful! This was a challenge for sure, but definitely showed the utility of a modular high tech-low tech loadout.
noice
thanks!
I just came back from an overnighter and come across your video 🤗 . I also did a 3h walk but with a bag around 15 kg , and I slept into a lean-to . I like a lot your videos , they are closer to the reality than we see in some other videos. They are real and simple and you also have a nice personality. I'm sure your channel will grow once more people discover you. Thanks for sharing !
Wow, awesome! How did your trip go? Really looking forward to calm summer days under a lean-to, going super minimal. I really appreciate your continued support, it really is tremendously helpful to growing the channel. It's also just really nice hearing back from the same people, I always look forward to your feedback😊
@@Giskeoutdoors the trip was fine but the after trip more difficult, I can feel pain in every muscles 😂 . Me too I look forward to warmer temperature so I can bring less clothes and a lighter sleeping bag . It's spring here but there are still snow and ice in the mountains and the night's are below zero . Right now, with those conditions , I dont feel safe to go on the light side in a remote area , even more if I dont have phone signals . Thanks
Absolutely! I'm usually ruined all weekend after the trip, being cold for so long, poor sleep and the physical exertion takes a toll on you. Good to hear you are staying smart with regards to risk, nature always wins!
Another great video! Any chance you'd tell me where you got those indoor/outdoor slippers? I live in Maine, I could really use a pair of those. Thanks!
Thanks dude! Yeah for sure, they're from a Norwegian brand called Helsport, I think they have an international page.
@@Giskeoutdoors Thanks!
