    A failing U.S. economy and elevated global tensions reduce the likelihood of prolonged inflation or higher long-term Treasury yields. I've seen folks amass up to $1m amid crisis, and even pull it off easily in a favorable economy. Unequivocally, the bubble/collapse is getting somebody somewhere rich

      I do not disagree, there are strategies that could be put in place for solid gains regardless of economy or market condition, but such executions are usually carried out by investment experts or advisors I speak from experience.

      True, I’m quite lucky exposed to personal finance at early age, started full time job 19, purchased first home 28, got laid-off work at 36 amid covid-outbreak, and at once consulted a well-qualified advisor to stay afloat. Thankfully, my portfolio has maintained steady growth ever since, amassing nearly $1m after subsequent investments to date.

    Interest rate cut and geopolitical uncertainty intensified a seII off in Big Tech."Shrink-flation' is the least of our worries compared to rising rents and stagnant wages, but it is an undeniable indicator of how bad our inflation has gotten. I have $100k that i like to invest in a non-retirement account, any advice on that?

      Safest approach i feel to tackle it is to diversify investments. By spreading investments across different asset classes, like bonds, real estate, and international stocks, they can reduce the impact of a market meltdown.

      A lot of folks downplay the role of advlsors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850K

    It seems like FED might just be complacent for sometime and start cutting too early; Once the rate cutting starts inflation will start to most likely pick up and then FED will start a MASSIVE RATE HIKE to 10% FED FUNDS rate; Hence this outcome will cause and start depression

      The financial market is a reliable choice. Diversify your portfolio with I-bonds, stocks (ETFs, REITs, dividend-paying stocks), and bitcoin. Given your budget, I recommend hiring a fiduciary to ensure you receive professional insights for a fee.

      Even with the right technique and assets some investors would still make more than others, as an investor, you should’ve known that by now, nothing beats experience and that’s final, personally I had to reach out to a market analyst for guidance which is how I was able to grow my account close to a million, withdraw my profit right before the correction and now I’m buying again.

      Focus on long term investments in property, stocks, and bonds. Avoid copying, daytrading and 'chart astrology'. Diversify across different geographies, industries, and value chain stages - to reduce your risk. You can do this with ETFs, or by selecting different stocks yourself. This is the best way to invest for more than 90% of people

    Isn't David Rubenstein suggesting that Open Interest suggests a drop in prices, for contracts in December? From what he said at 4:15, there isn't another way of deriving a change in Futures pricing, for months ahead. Or, am I wrong?

    • @ianglenn2821
      @ianglenn2821 Месяц назад

      futures is more than just indices and commodities, there is an interest rate futures market, you can get a contract for a 5.33% rate that begins in September, the price for that has gone up, indicating the market is pricing a rate cut for September. The January contract is pricing in 3 cuts, which is maybe too much.
