I once went out with the Animemen in LA. We had a great time and good laughs when suddenly Gianni offered Jeremy his meat. I found this weird at first but I figured that’s just what they do. They are bros after all but what came after exceeded my wildest dreams as Jeremy swallowed Gianni’s meat whole. I was truly impressed and it was some of the best meat swallowing I have ever seen! Jeremy, if you were to try this challenge again I think it would be better if your choice of beverage isn’t a soda, the carbonation of soda makes you feel so much fuller.
Soda isn’t the problem. A lot of competitive eaters drink soda while doing challenges. IMO he needed to incorporate some sauces like ketchup earlier on into it. A lot of the time the struggle isn’t eating but just constantly eating the same thing over and over. Break the briskets apart and make sandwiches with the egg. Literally anything to change the taste and texture up.

I watch a lot of competitive eaters like Matt Stonie and BeardMeatsFood, and restaurants upsizing the amount of food for a competition (more than advertised), their hosting is unfortunately a common thing. Don't know why they do that but it happens. If you guys are thinking of filming another food challenge in a restaurant, I'd recommend secretly recording yourselves inside of the restaurant, order the food for the competition, wait for the food to come out, and if the portion size of the food seems accurate to what it looks like on ads, then you guys can bust out the ultra 4K surround sound cameras and film with those ones.
If the food is obviously supersized than it might be a good idea to ask for a giant to go box, because unless you are able to finish the supersized meal, its not worth doing the food challenge when you've been given a huge disadvantage.
