Pretty much, Geese's training from the Hakkyokuseiken school taught him how to use the planet earth's ki energy in his favor, and boy did he learned how to use it well. Geese probably harness 80% of It. You should look up of one of his most devastating moves that's not in this game. THUNDER BREAK.
God this game irks the hell out of me with frame perfect notations.. I played few fighting games in my time, netherrealm games, and a couple others.. my current cycle of fighting games are Tekken and dbfz(trying to add this to the list but might just keep it super casual, cause I'm utter shit at execution on this)... This one is by far the most annoying yet rewarding fighting game I've ever played and it's a pretty good feeling when you land something you've been struggling on for the longest. I've first played geese in Tekken and loved playing him on there. Made it to fujin. This game just feels like there's no room for error at all. Fuck up and you die.. 😂 also trying to play hitbox and pad back to back to feel out which is comfortable for me ain't doing me any favors... Great guide (I needed to randomly vent my frustration with this game.)
Frame perfect notations? Tekken is mechanically a harder game so you shouldn’t struggle that much. You might just need to learn some kof specific tips like “the button hold trick” or even some of the input work arounds like doing a dragon punch with “632146” instead of the normal “6236”
How hard is it to learn Geese as a beginner in this game? Is it possible to get good with him on ps4 controller? I want to pick up this game and get good with Geese but I'm scared I'll regret it.
first i want too say great video my best geese video for kof15 , snk disappoint me for a few reason the way geese is balance 1- geese is a boss mean he suppose to be a Anchor , sadly he more a mid in is team and yamazaki is the Anchor , snk disrespect geese :( , and terry for fatal fury team is Anchor 2- you expose the issue very well some of geese counter have 0 reward or follow up 3- geese is a harder character too play sadly in this version you are not reawrd to put the work for it i feel in kof15 geese is under power namco have more respect for geese in tekken 7 compare snk in kof15
Awesome video my dude! I havent compared yet (on distance gain and on bar gain) but when the enemy is too far to be otg, I do croching HP and kara cancel into qcb+LP; depending on the speed of rising up of the enemy maybe it can be done twice to shorten the distance and gain some bar. In some cases also for your setups you can qcb+LP and then still obtain the OTG if you are very close or in the corner
A lot of information on screen, very helpful video for a noob to kof, also my characters are geese, yamizaki and rugal, which is the best order to play them in, I always put rugal first?
It depends on your opponent team, Rugal is super strong against zoner, especially when he have meters. Geese and Yamazaki can be good pointer too, both can play effectively without meters. Join our Discord to learn with us
You can just enter Max mode with B+C. If you cancel any normals with B+C than that is quicl mode. Dash is automatic but you can move almost immediately.
First ex dp first will deals more dmg. Second wall bounce combo is situational, it will affected by position, it is better to train yourself with a stabler combo route. Qcb ac than ex dp always give you better dmg but doesn't mean it efficient, meter management also very important in many situations.
I haven't play him seriously yet. He can be a mid since he have good safe string and you can bet on his parry. He is also good as anchor both lv3 super are very strong comeback tools.
I haven't put any air fireball juggle in the video because I think they are not practical. Maybe there are some better combo route. You can join our Discord and share with us.
@@RiverNileHK thanks I would love to man.. I think it gives the highest damage midscreen.after the wall bounce Ex, u have to hyperhop forward and ex fireball.

Geese has such weird powers lol. Is it electric, ki, wind…all 3 lol?

Fighting games are hard. Tbh i think dbfz also have hard combo. I was so confuse by all the switching and support character. Glad you joined kof.

New to KoF. Quick question-- does KoF not have a way to dash and enter into Max Mode like he does in Tekken?
You can just enter Max mode with B+C. If you cancel any normals with B+C than that is quicl mode. Dash is automatic but you can move almost immediately.
Have you messed around with his fireballs in the air can he still combo into them ?(if so)
Yes, but I haven't put them in, those combo doesn't really useful. ex Air fireball is like an approach tools more than a combo tools
4:30
Ost name ?
Sakura Theme song from Street fighter EX2
Amazing video but do you have any tips on how to properly execute the command normal into OTG throw thanks for the help
You mean forward B into otg throw? Do the otg throw command during forward B and hold the punch button and buffer the command for longer.
I need something like this for Angel.
I am not qualified to do an Angel guide yet, will try to learn her asap😅
@@RiverNileHK oh no rush man, I'm just blessed RUclips pointed me towards your channel homie, the geese guided helps me a lot.👍👍

what position do you see geese doing the best? Point/mid/anchor?
I haven't play him seriously yet. He can be a mid since he have good safe string and you can bet on his parry. He is also good as anchor both lv3 super are very strong comeback tools.
I would say flex(mid) for Geese. There are better anchor options like Beth and... Rock 😂😂😂. He is ok as point too.
Am I the only one that uses his advanced Combos with the Aor ex fireball juggle
