When I was at University back in the 1980's we fought against apartheid in South Africa. Barclays Bank was not allowed on campus due to links with that regime. We had rallies, meetings and protests. We raised funds and all the student bars were named after ANC activists. Steve Beko, Julie Livingstone and of course Nelson Mandela. Anti racism was huge, It was about inclusion, understanding and action. Today.. Students want to introduce apartheid to the UK

And it's so strange because students are only there for 4 years so how are they getting such a grasp on the colleges and how are the professors allowed to do this I've never ever heard any of my teachers any of my college professors talk about any of this when I went to college and that was 10 years ago

When I was at University back in the 1980's we fought against apartheid in South Africa. Barclays Bank was not allowed on campus due to links with that regime. We had rallies, meetings and protests. We raised funds and all the student bars were named after ANC activists. Steve Beko, Julie Livingstone and of course Nelson Mandela. Anti racism was huge, It was about inclusion, understanding and action.
