Are you suggesting that getting a COVID vaccine is suicide? Really? That the governments of the world were/are coercive in pressuring people to get vaccinated?
As one of millions of Canadians who have had vaccinations & boosters & live to tell about it, I can't possibly view the subject of government encouraged COVID vaccinations as the same as a Veteran Affairs employee offering an option of assisted suicide to a veteran.
Even if you apply the concept of coercive control...which would be interesting... you'd still have to be significantly paranoid to view such vaccinations as suicide/murder/etc.
A pretty poor form of suicide, if so many of us survived it.

Progressives get angry when you call it out for what it is, but it’s the same as it’s always been, did society of the unfit who cannot contribute in a meaningful way that moves society forward. The key has been conditioning over time to get accustomed to the idea so it’s voluntary or coerced. Not blatantly forced like the “old day”

This will happen more and more often, though perhaps in different ways. The argument in favour is that patients should be made aware of all options. It's a fair point, but it should certainly never be pushed. There are some serious ethical questions as to when it is appropriate to raise the issue at all. If an individual expresses suicidal thoughts, is it really a good idea to offer MAiD? At most I might grant that it _could_ be raised if a wish for suicide remains after therapeutic sessions and evaluations by appropriate mental health specialists. But when all you want is mobility help? If this particular case really is as was described, then that's certainly unacceptable.
