Same I need a new desk my old one I needed for my gecko I also need a nice keyboard which are hard to get cheap and desk chair with back support in total it would cost about 200 aud
@@jefferdon4428 Get the Keyboard I have, The Razer Cynosa Chroma, they're 75 bucks and I really like mine. The desk in this video is 20 dollars and you could always drill a hole for cable management and for a chair, just get one on Kijiji or something ( I found a DxRacer for 200$ when normal price is a grand)

This isnt totally bad. You should really continue this series. Having a model prepared is a great idea along with giving recommendations to certain products with them in the description. & also would be great to see some furniture recommendations for the entire room whether its a bedroom or office to complete the entire theme of the room.
Am I blind, or did the 3D render forget about his Blue Yeti mic? I understand you weren't going to go into detail and put all of his figurines and what-not on there, but I feel like the microphone is probably an important part of the setup.
Secondly, I was going to ignore the fact that there was no cable coming off of the headphones hanging by the table, but when I saw that you took the time to include a cable for the keyboard, I have to ask - did you assume the headphones could have the cord removed, or just not include the cord? As much as I like the headphones hanging there, I can't help but imagine the cord dangling from it being a major eyesore.

One idea for those who need an ultra wide desk... kitchen cabinet worktops :). They come in whatever length you'd need, whatever design - buy some metal legs for it, screw them on the bottom. When I moved into my current place, decided to just make a real long desk, like 12 feet, to house 2 or sometimes 3 PC's. To me, it doesn't look any worse than that ikea render, and it's ultra durable and easy to keep clean - designed to be hacked at with knives, so you'd really have to try hard to damage it. I'm probably not much of an aesthetics purist, I like a decent sized desk with a little extra space when I need it. My worktop and metal leg solution probably cost 1/3rd of what it would to put 2 desks in the same place. Just a thought, for people lucky enough to have a lot of space for their kit and want to make good use of it... the chances are that you won't find an ideal desk to fill a large space along a wall, at least not without paying through the nose for modular... you can always just make your own, and adapt it for however you want to organise cables etc. I mean, it's easy to screw things to the underside of a worktop, like mount a router and a power strip underneath and there's no reason for a cable to be on the floor... all that useful stuff that you might not be inclined to do to a brand new expensive ikea thing.
A lamp or two would definitely help.

I agree with you telling people to put together a longer desk but to all people watch Ikea might not be the cheapest. If you dont have one close (mine is 3 hours away) just build your own desk.
I purchased two 2ftx4ftx1in medum density fiberboard from Homedepot with 3 8ft studs. Mounted the two fiberboards for support to the 8ft studs for a seamless 8 foot desk and just placed them on 3 Walmart metal racks. I now have 6 shelves which fit both of my Xbox One's, two speakers, router, modem, powersurge (and if you could, they sell powersurge enclousures so you don't have to see your rats nest)
Now I have an 8ft desk with alot of storage and adequte desk space for two computers, six monitors, two keyboards and mice with extended mats and room to spare!
Total cost (36 for Fiberboard and Studs, $45 for 3 Metal Rack) for a completely flat and flush desk on a budget or without ikea!

My one criticism of it would be it's a little too edited and "cheesy-jokey". If that's what you like, then that's fine, but for me it's just a little at odds with the rest of the channel.

My setup has bacicly stayed the same since late 2014. The only changes that's been made is a new cpu fan, new xbox controller, mousemat, 1 new mouse identical to previous one, and i've gone through 3 headsets. one other adition is a shelf above the desk. other than that pretty much the same.
What program do you use for the making the 3D Render of the room?
I have the Linton table and the floating shelves in my setup. Been waiting 2 years for a new episode of setup clinic...
