I would play just the chords if I was playing with a band and let the bass player do their part. The way I play for tutorial would be for those that want to learn to play by their selves but you are correct. Thanks for the feed back tho... I appreciate it
djeighty 8keys yeah bruh but I appreciate this version with u showing the chords because one of the great things about this song is they had the heavy bass line in the piano. Their other songs featured Moog Bass or the bass guitar of Ronnie Wilson but they very intentionally emphasized the piano bass arrangement on this recording for a unique gospel/jazz type of sound. Thanks for teaching!!!!

Hey Marc, awesome video! I was wondering though, would you play it this way in a band or on a recording? You play alot of octaves in the bass, and do those little runs matching the bass line. If you were playing with a bass player would you be playing more just the chords?

For the second chord right hand its easier if you leave it in the first chord position, include the lower f# from before, move your index down one note, and lay your ring finger on the c#
that shit was dope playing the keys slower sounded like a laid back vibe

Thanks for posting. I think there's also a C# in that 1st chord. I think it's a Abm7(add4)... doesn't sound like it has a 5th. So, Ab + B + Db + Gb.
