tatsumaki might be the best base moveset to counter an ulted sonic, the second and third move are good for keeping them off you. no one talks about how sonics ultimate is by far the most busted one in the game. when you imagine fighting an ulted character while youre in base, some type of strategy always comes to mind for each one, but with sonic there is absolutely nothing you can do if they are good at the game. unblockable, uncounterable, long-range, large hitbox moves. not to mention they can dash in circles around you until they have their moves again even IF they miss.

Actually it doesn't bypass death blow, you can activate it by being close, and since you were far from the cutscene range it didnt activate, but it's pretty much a "counter" for deathblow

Yo, something I found out is that you can block Sonic’s explosive shuriken with saitama shove. It has to be really perfect timing but it’s actually possible.

Stone grave is op, it’s deals decent damage, breaks block, extends the combo, has almost no startup, and blocks attacks
Not to mention its a ranged aoe
Also is the only move that can CREATE something, so you can climb it, hide behind it, or do wall combos off it.

Blocking it reduces damage btw, it deals 22% normally but if blocked it deals 11%
Still should be nerfed tho but it’s good to know

@@athensrojaBecause it only does. If you’re in a move such as Pinpoint Cut (Air Variant) Jet Dive etcetera, you can evade it.
Same with Garou's ult, but it needs much more higher highground
Fun fact: if you do table flip while your on the rock, the rocks on the ground before the impact wont show, so its basically an invisible table flip.

For the saitama ult moves using stone grave under the saitama can redirect serious punch and sometimes just make omni directional not work

sonic ult is meant to be overpowered to make up for its base moveset being the worst in the game
