it would not be a crow video without me forgetting notation 7:24 f.H > RS > RC > cl.H > 214H > cl.M > 236H > 66H > 623L also both of the 5U anti air combos should say 6~2 not 6~4
learning how strong 66H is in combos was the glue i needed for a good chunk of the routes i labbed. thanks alot for exploring things i chalked as bad too quickly.
Thank you! I was just looking for Vira guide videos yesterday and didn't find anything I liked. This video just appeared on my recommendations today and is everything I wanted!
After 236H wall bounces, instead of 66H, you can sometimes 2H>214M with the right spacing for more damage. Also if you hit 66H, you can link into 66L even at max range, though its a very tight window. probably better to just f.h > RS for consistency. There's a bit of routing with 22U that you didnt go into in the video, you can do stuff like 5LL > 22U > 2H > 214L > 2M > 236H/214H
yeah i dont like the 2h 214m stuff because its a bit more finicky with spacing. you only gain like 30 damage but lose around 90 if you have to jab instead of cl.m cuz 214M hit too low the 66l link isnt that hard and gives more corner carry so its probs strictly that better most of the time but i recorded 1 66h clip and then forgot the starter existed after lmao 22u stuff is useful to know but i think it seems edge case and not worth the meter unless you have no bp and need something to kill since doing RS does sooo much more damage, so i just didnt bother including it for brevity sake (video already almost 10 minutes long)
yeah fair enough. I never end up using the 22u combo in game anyway, I usually either RS>RC or Install for the extra corner carry. but im sure theres some circumstances where youd rather keep the bravery point/dont have 100 meter where the 22u combo is worth using.
Thanks for the video, as someone who normally doesn't go hard in fighting games and has supringsly put 60 hours into this game so far, mostly playing vira so this helps alot
Very detailed video, and thank you for the notifications. This is how I normally learn most of my characters in any fighter. From basics to combining them into supers and AA. I think the only thing missing but optional is the guaranteed ultimate confirms that are practical. Overall I'm glad there's a video that can help. Thank you, and have this like.
Nice guide, only thing I wouldn't recommend, is the double RS combo. While Vira can easily gain one back from her install with her SBA. I feel bravery is too value to be spending on a combo with that damage
Thank you very much for this guide. Straight forward and efficient. Do you think you could make similar videos for each of the free characters in rotation ? Still trying to figure out my main before I buy the game :) Thanks a lot and Merry Christmas ! 🙏
thanks, i'm still at the amateur level to be able to use most of these but I really needed more ideas for AA. How do you feel about the provided AA using 2H 22L? seems like you have to get like right under them to catch the f.M after so it doesn't seem practical, but the 236U link does feel really good
@@crowidiot at least for someone like me, the difference between a 40% and 35% antiair is still better than just dropping it all together lol I gotta work on microdashes though, always seem to do it too early and it gets eaten
It’s numpad notation (sorry you’ll have to google a picture) but basically every number on the numpad is where your controller/stick goes. Like 214x is down, then down back, then back and then whatever button you decide to press
it would not be a crow video without me forgetting notation

same. I was dashing forward and trying to catch wall bounce with close medium. very inconsistent. for me at least. this is way easier with 66H.
Indeed
Great combo guide, these do seem pretty optimized!

This Christmas just keeps on giving, thank you Santa Crow
Now, to the lab! (Also especially thanks for misc tips, those are always welcome)
finally a guide on how to properly digest plastic
I'm gonna win Evo with these guides

best guide i've found. didn't know 66H was even a thing.
im playing her on the f2p right now, its pretty fun.

kickass video

To be fair
Vira doesnt use her ultimates as much as some of the cast because shes so reliant on SBA
Don’t like fighting this character at all but liked for the Falcom music 🫡
Very Goood I will pratice

yeah its just a route for if you need to kill and have limited meter not meant to be a bnb
@crowidiot got you. Nonetheless, I'm stealing these. Thank you
I've been mostly only picking up new combos in mirror matches.
Nice combos 🔥🔥🔥
Ayo your yandere waifu is kinda sick tho! Thanks for the tech
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CROW POSTING CAW CAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

no not unless theres a dlc character i swap to i rarely put stuff out for characters i dont play
Man, that combo at :35 requires such precise spacing, or is it just me? I can never get it to work.

its cool but it feels really finicky with height and loses damage so im not a big fan outside of for flashiness

This is my first fgc game. I'm confused on how you get that big red hit animation at 6:45
Counter hit, meaning ur opp presses a button and you win against theirs
@@Hanswer122 ahhh okay. Thank you very much 🙏
this is good and all but can you instead make a guide on how to make command grab hit more? people keep jumping or hitting me when I do it :(
end in cl.L cl.M 22H and then command grab before 22H hits works 100% of the time on netplay unbeatable trust
@@crowidiotthis seems kinda hard :/ I think I'll just end up switching to siegfried instead cuz of his huge sword xD
@@conbork💀👎🏾
How ya gonna ask for help, He gives it to you just for you to decline and run to another character. Practice instead.
@@conbork so true bestie dont listen to the haters they just dont understand you
oki guide at some point? trying to lab some safe jumps but they seem to lose to U.dps only
uhhh maybe if i get struck with motivation but no promises. not super invested in this game
What is CL? CL.m?
cl is close, so proximity normals. cl.M is close medium.
