    I wonder how it ended up being spelled almondigas when it's albondigas in Spanish

  • @harveycochien2794
    @harveycochien2794 3 года назад +1

    hay que barbaridad ALBONDIGAS EN ESPANOL! --- NOT al MONdigas

    • @ChefTatung
      @ChefTatung  4 года назад +7

      Yes. But in the Philippines it's better known as almondigas as the language has evolved centuries after spanish rule. Many originally spanish words have become filipinized.

      you're the barbaric one, languages and cuisines evolve hence the small difference. Educate yourself before you condescendingly correct others about their own cuisine!!!

      Almondiga o albondiga son correctos según el diccionario español que significa albóndigas. "Albondiga" es como lo llaman los españoles, pero aquí en Filipinas lo llamamos almondigas. También se diferencia en la forma de cocinar, pinoy almondigas es base de sopa como en el video.

      Almondiga or albondiga is both correct according to spanish dictionary which means meatballs. "Albondiga" is how spanish usually call it ,but here in the Philippines we call it almondigas. It also differ in way of cooking, pinoy almondigas is soup base just like in the video.
