John Wysocki is always such an amazing drummer. ALWAYS in the pocket. First time I heard "Home", (which unfortunately isn't in this setlist) I was like; "Man this guy's good!" Especially when he was using OCDP... Then Mike Mushok goes to PRS from Ibanez.
Mike Mushok is a wild guitarist and yet plays it perfect. Controlled aggression.

I remember seeing staind open for the family values tour with limp bizkit headlining but was blown away on how great staind was

If I had to choose just one voice to listen to for the rest of my life and absolutely no one else, it would be Aaron Lewis’s voice. I could literally listen to his voice all day everyday and still get the same chills.
@@feranas5962 I think it’s more of a subjective matter. When it comes to vocal range and ability, there’s no doubt that there are better singers out there than Aaron. But to me, the emotions of anguish, despair and even anger that Aaron’s voice conveys is absolutely second to none. It hit me hard as a 14 year old kid, and it still impacts me the same way 17 years later.

Great! Ich habe es damals nicht mitbekommen und könnte heulen nicht dabei gewesen zu sein......Hatte vor zig Jahren Tickets für Hamburg und auf dem Weg zum Konzert kam im Radio die Durchsage, dass es aufgrund von Stimmbänder -Problemen von Aaron abgesagt wurde.....😢

I was trying to figure out what is missing from Staind’s sound and it occurred to me that their guitarist doesn’t solo. I like them but I think I would probably like them even more if their songs had guitar solos.

Have to give aaron lewis credit for his live vocals spot on with his pitch. Sounds neary identical to how he sounds on the albums. Not all live singers can do this david lee roth and bob dylan are as off pitch live as it gets.

Yes, via wireless. You can clearly hear it for example in verses in Tolerate.
Mike's tone here is so different from the way he eq'd his shit back in the day lol. though, tuning down to G# on a 6er has its own set of problems just by itself lol
It’s a baritone guitar (Ibanez MMM1). It’s built to be like a 7 string, without the high string so it has a reinforced bridge and nut and the right string gauges to tune to Ab Db Ab Db Gb Bb or any of the like 12 other slight variations of that.
But yes you’re right about his tone...if you mean that it used to be so fuckin good on Dysfunction and Break the Cycle...then it started getting worse and worse somehow...

Actually I’ve never seen a baritone 7, but if it’s just a further extension of range on the low end like Mushok’s guitar, then obviously I approve of that low F#. ^.- Well...that’s what I tune my 8 string to: F# B E A D G B E (no need to tune down when your guitar has pretty much an entire extra lower octave to fuck around with lol). What do you tune your baritone 7 string to...out of curiosity?
@@ZolFox i do things a little differently than most, i took a page out of Wes Borland's playbook from the 90s-2000s. What i mean by that, is that i mainly use 7 strings, but tune them either as a 6string with a doubled high first string (DADGBEE) or in a modified "Drop" tuning. (ADADGBE).....
Ive got a standard scale(25.5" scale) Ibanez LACS 7string (used by Orgy's guitarist Ryan Shuck) that stays in an alternate form of Drop A# (sometimes ill switch my high F out for a doubled high C):

A# F A# D# G C C
ive also got an Ibanez RG1077XL (27" scale 7string)that stays in a modified Drop-C :
G C G C F A D
ive got a short-scale baritone Ibanez 7string, the RGDR4327 (26.5" scale) which i keep in either drop -A or double-drop D:

then Ive got my 27" Ibanez 6string baritone, the Ibanez RG970XL, and this is my "Architects" guitar. strings 1-5 always stay the same pitch and gauge, with the only modifications being to the lowest string:

C# F# B E G# C#
and then i have my standard scale 6 string Ibanez RGA that handles Drop C# duties

This is the worst version of Outside !! The show is great but something wrong with Aaron voice or with guitar sound.. they ruined the show cuz this song is one of their best songs but I dunno how did they performed it this way unlike the rest of the show was great.. plus one song is missing "Layne" hope if they played this underrated song
