A&M could absolutely win this weekend
But there is ZERO chance either team scores 30 (unless something crazy happens) haha defensive dogfight coming
You might be right about that, Notre Dame's defense is a top 7 defense in college football.
I can see Fresno State putting up a fight against a Michigan team that pretty much is starting over. Michigan wins 27-16.
Notre Dame and A&M is gonna be a dogfight 13-10.
Penn State barely gets by West Virginia 21-17.
Georgia will pull away in the second half against Clemson 42-24.
These are pretty good predictions, I don't see West Virginia keeping it too close against PSU, but they do have an experienced team and the homefield advantage, so maybe.
I think my Texas Longhorns beats the Colorado State Rams at home 40-10.

Notre Dame is going to be relying on their Defense this Season, and the two strongest units on the Irish Defense are their Defensive Line and their Defensive Backfield.
That D-Line returns 3 Starters and 6 players who saw significant playing times last year.
I think if A&M is to have success against ND, they will absolutely NEED to make use of the intermediate passing game early.
If they can accomplish that, and maybe thrown in some misdirection plays, counters and traps, then they might be able to go over the top on the Sfaties for some big yardage plays.
I just dont see them banging heads with ND's Front 7 all night and having much success.
On the flip side, I am not at all convinced that Transfer QB Riley Leonard is the guy to lead Notre Dame to a Playoff appearance.
I really liked what Steve Angeli did in limite time last season, and then he really played extremely well in the Bowl Game. I wish they would have given him the Start instead.
This should be a close, low scoring game all the way into the 4th quarter...

I like A&M's running back room with Moss having a big year in 2024, Notre Dame definitely isn't weak in the front, but their strength is ultimately in the secondary.

Okay, thinking Texas A&M is gonna win is one thing, but thinking they will score 30 on Notre Dame says you need to get tested for drugs. Neither team is scoring 30. In fact I think Notre Dame wins because the Aggies lack playmakers on offense.

@@DCSk8er529 You might be right about that, 30 Points might be a bit too much, but I expect Texas A&M to run the ball well, I like what they have in the backfield with moss, and Mike Elko and A&M will find a way to win this game and put up points early in the season at home. There's a lot of times every expects a 17-14 type of game, but the offenses play better than expected, I think that happens in this game.

A&M i dont think will get past the Irish ☘️. A&M is one of the most over rated SEC schools 7-5 last year started the year at 23. 2022 5-7 the year before and started at #6. And the years prior same thing. Start out ranked high then barely go 500. Happened in 2021 as well

@MrTruefacts101 Well, I thought there were logical reasons GT would beat Florida State, and it happened, I'm not picking any upsets to happen this week, but we still have a lot more to learn about these teams. What confuses me is the people that make a case for Clemson to beat Georgia 🤣
