The focus Is More in the tensión and the unknow. I mean this Is pretty much a better predator movie than the last predator movie.
Well those movie monsters were incredibly hard to kill. The predator has hi tech plasma weapons, cloaking tech, super human strength, and even after being crushed by a massive log, the only thing that killed it was its own self destruct device. The Xenomorph was hard to kill because all the crew had were flamethrowers, and cattle prods. In Aliens, the Marines had state of the art pulse rifles that could've killed the Nostromo alien easily...sort of. And the reason the Thing was hard to kill, was because it looked like a regular person, and it took heavy observation and some paranoia to hunt down and burn it. The Overlord zombies could be killed by completely crushing their brains and being burnt by flamethrowers. I'm not trying to offend, but in this instance, more is more. @@motor4X4kombat
@@rebel1717 get your point but since zombies are pretty much everywhere, i just wanted to see something a little bit diferent, not just fleash eating monsters in the background while the characters argue like whiney bitches lime every fucking season of the walking dead. The best way to describe this movie Is pretty much it did for the zombies what from dusk till Dawn did to vampires in the 90's were those things where pretty much everywhere, there wasn't that much good material out of them, and you can argue that their popularity is starting to die, but since FDTD make something a little More creative with the genre it earn a cult status despite not making that much money, even if they didn't broke new grounds. Overlord can be seen as one in the future, i mean just look at films like the big Lebowski , nightmare before christmast, a chistmast story, and of course Batman: mask of the phatom that were box office bombs when they came out now they are so popular now you see them everywhere.
Overlord can be seen as one as Time goes by and More people has the chance to watch it. But i digress
5:30 is it just me, or does his foot pass right through the leg of that corpse as he's running out of the bunker? Is that a CG slip up?
Definitely looks like it.
