Mum Tere Lynn Svetlecich Russell, 43, and her daughters have a combined hair length of over FOUR METRES - like a family of real life Rapunzels. The mother-of-five has had flowing locks since she was a toddler and still has it today because it drives husband Chip, 47, wild. Amazingly, she is forced to wash it by kneeling every time because it DRAGS her to the floor when wet. But most of the time her tresses are winning her acclaim across Illinois state where she regularly scoops first place in 'Longest Pony Tail Competitions' at annual fetes and fairs - and now her girls are following in her footsteps.
At it's longest, Tere Lynn's hair cascades over her shoulders at an incredible 74 inches. Her eldest Callan, 11, sports 36 3/4 (thirty-six and three-quarter) inch locks, while Cendalyn, nine, is just behind with a straight 36-inch hairdo. Chesney, six, is catching up with a 26 1/4 (twenty-six and one-quarter)-inch mane, while adorable Chapin, one, has the beginnings of a sprout too.
Apart from little Chapin, each of the females use a quarter-bottle of conditioner every time they wash their hair. Tere Lynn often accidentally slams her hair in car doors, gets it sucked up when vacuum cleaning at home, and the kids are always standing on it. But she keeps it for Chip, who first asked her on a date as a teenager because of her luscious long locks. Last week the mum and daughters took their first EVER trip to a hair salon - to show the girls what it was like as a treat. Tere Lynn's mum Patricia, 69, has been the only person to cut her hair since she was born, and Tere Lynn is carrying on the tradition with her own girls.

Me and my 3 sisters grew our hair to 14 inches (I grew mine to 16) and donated it to the Rapunzel foundation who make wigs for kids with alopecia altogether we gave 6 ponytails (me and my 2nd oldest sisters hair was so thick we made 2 ponytails out of our hair). We also raised money but instead of giving that to the Rapunzel foundation we raised 4200 euro for the hospice (who looked after my granny when she was dying) me and my sisters will hold that event in our hearts for ever

Someone commented that their hair looks damaged at the end. This is most likely because of "split ends" which are basically when one strand of hair splits into two strands. Apparently you should always cut split ends because that part is unhealthy and damaging. Trimming off the split ends will help your hair grow healthier and faster! :)
It doesn't actually make your hair grow faster _or_ healthier- rather, trimming off split ends just removes the frayed/damaged hair, so the hair that's left is healthier and subsequently looks much nicer and thicker since the split ends tend to get very uneven in length and make the ends of the hair look really thin! You don't actually have to trim your ends to maintain healthy hair on the rest of your head, it just looks a lot nicer and if you're curly/kinky/otherwise tangle-inclined, trimming the ends makes brushing _so_ much easier.

@@emojigirlanimations7605 technically it does grow faster though because it actually retains length, so both statements are true 😊. You keep the length you have therefore see growth you wouldn’t see otherwise when the ends keep breaking away, but it doesn’t stimulate anything at the scalp.

The longest my hair has been was to the thighs at age 5 but then it stopped growing 😭😭 But it used to be frizzy all the time! I never knew why but in 2020 I found out it was just curly and I had been treating it wrong. I haven’t straightened it in over a year and it’s starting to grow a little bit so we’ll see :)

To the people saying "ooh they should donate their hair" "why dont they donate their hair": what is wrong with you? Youre implying that there's a kind of duty for people who have more of something than others to donate what they have more! Thank you! I love my long hair and am not going to cut or donate it. If I "don't need it," then neither do the people it would be donated to. It's great that people donate their hair but nobody should be made to feel guilty for not donating theirs.

She looked demonic. Furthermore, there was blood trailing down her face from her eyes, as if she had been crying. Her lips were purple in colour, her jaggard and sharp teeth protruding from her half grinning mouth and her nose had pinkish tinge mucus dripping down."

My hair is up to my thighs. It is the same colour as theirs but a lot thicker. I only wash it once a week because it takes several hours to. It is generally healthy, exempt when I am stressed, and I don’t think I will ever want to cut or dye it.

Having to keep his hair short while his sisters get to have long uncut thick hair , and get all the attention wherever they go , can u imagine , being told my your mom who has 6 feet long thick hair that you have to get your haircut , than coming home to your sisters long hair and your mom's ?like can u imagine being him and going out with his family to get his haircut than leaving the salon and watching his mom or sister literally flip their hair forward and have it touch the ground or cover their body , than being told you can't do that ? Lol he probably feels so left out . And likebefore school to having to get his haircut short and his sisters jusy going to school and showibg off their hair and him just standing there with short hair not getting any attention .

I’ve always had long hair since I was old enough to decide on my own my length and some days I want to chop it all off. I feel guilty over trimming it so I guess I’ll have to deal with the high maintenance of the long hair.
