Just purchased the YDP-165 for my daughter. She’s been playing for 2 years now with one formal lesson a week and she absolutely loves this thing. We felt like she couldn’t progress much further as her at home practice keyboard “Concertmate 990” with non weighted keys was holding her back. She is on her new piano every chance she gets! Also picked her up a pair of Yamaha HPH-150B head phones to go with it, can’t say enough good things about the set up…
I just bought this for my daughters as well. Very beautiful piano matching our living room. Now me and my wife are practicing on the piano as well with the Yamaha iPad app.
From what i read so far - better smart tune the music to the volume - sound escape better from the cabinet more depth and more warm and sound more realistic -keys more refined
@@mistermart50 love it! Definitely recommend! It sounds beautiful and feels like a real piano. You might want to get a nicer piano stool for it, though lol
@@MsY3sssi Great! I am narrowing it down to the YDP-165, Kawai CN201 or I just splurge and buy a used Kawai K-200 acoustic upright. Hard time deciding. Enjoy and thanks for the response. Cheers.

Hi, I would like to ask you what ist the name of the song you are playing from 10:03 ? Tried to Shazam it, no results unfortunately. Thanks a lot.
Is there any significance difference over YDP164? Would you recommend this over KDP120 or RP701?
