I really like the can opener that pokes a hole in the middle, then adjust and go around. Thumbs up from me :)
Yeah awesome stuff !!!!!!!
Yeah. That ones still my favorite too.
Yeah, I like that one too :) it seems easier to use than the modern one, but the same amount of easy as an electric can opener I think
I like it when it’s tight tho.
@@Wojtaz77 me too 😂
Why all of these can openers look like some torture tools from the middle ages lol
because they probqbly are, just later they found it can be used to open cans.
True lol
The first cans had to be opened with a hammer and chisel.. these were a step forward.
Because they are the ghost of theyre former self :D
They’re vintage
Most of these are honestly a lot better than most current can openers😂
The vintage gadgets were much more durable than todays.!!!
*gajeks
the vintage swing-a-way is the best opener that you can still get to this day.
Those are some unusual things in a can..
8:17 Gopnik Survival Food xD
5:13 secret message😉😂
Did he really just eat the whole sunflower seed
What ever happened to, "Where safety is our #1 priority?"
Because he knew these can openers aren't exactly super safe to use 😂
@@snowmanleblanc6053 I hope he is up to date with his Tetanus vaccine!
Priority is our no.1 safety.
it was always a lie
Nice. That center punch sliding can opener is awesome. What's it called and how do you get one. Probably 70+ yo and still works. Looks like it would be easy to sharpen too. ANYONE KNOW WHERE TO FIND ONE or The name of it to research it. I've been through so many can openers over the years.
8:10 *LifeOfBoris* has entered the chat.
Yep
Haahhha man i wanted to sat that cousin

"Put it all the way deep, but slowly" That's what she said! 🤣🤣
The P-38 and P-51 are hard to beat, very small compact and so easy to use.
The centre-punch style is really good. Especially for a survival situation - rotary can-openers often break. And the speed!!
The highlight of my day is watching a Russian open cans. I need to rethink my life choices.
Start with what can opener you’re using.
1:08 WOW, THEY REALLY HAVE IT!
CANNED BREAD -squidward
😂😂😂
My grand parents still use their can opener my grandad got in the army, they swear by it
P38 the best !!
He just went through all his covid food
That's pretty interesting. I didn't know there were so many different designs of can openers. I liked the 1st one and the other one that starts with the hole in the middle. Good job!
The last one I got similar and may be 1980s it still works better than the modern ones that go blunt
Sharpen w tin foil or sandpaper
I think instead of angular force in the 2nd and the 3rd, 4th last ones, you should try holding the opener vertical and turning the can around. I think that way the opener would work better & less chance of slipping
First style can opener is a Sargent-Sprague Can Opener patented 1870, I believe.
Some of these are really cool, I would absolutely use them today !
Imagine how many cans of food he has to eat after this 😂
A whole can of salt
@@hxllxhxund lol
It’s fine he’s Russian
I love Taras so much, I remember the first video I watched was with a bald man and they were doing pranks and life hacks. Glad to see you’re still relevant!
A good video for those who are still buying and storing foods of cans in this pandemic.
I miss your experiments!!! Lots of love!!
The center tap can opener is a clever and functional can opener. It opens so fast and with a clean edge.
The intro is just so pure
Just replace can opener with life
The air isn’t escaping from the can, it’s quite the opposite! The can is air tight and vacuumed, air is rushing in when you puncture it!
In the Philippines. I've learned how to open cans , using a kitchen knife. Without any problem.
I want that. i use a p38 sometimes to open my cans. i love vintage utensils.
*when vintage can openers are better than most modern can openers*
The most fascinating thing about this video are the caned products. Like where do you even find this stuff?
Ahhhh this is scary......keeps on using it.
I like the one motion can openers too.
All of them work better than any new manual opener I have been able to find
5:13 "I like it when it's tight though" Oh yeah, Same brother :^))
I remember when you started you always wore safety glasses .. what happened? Now it's raw
2020 Happened, survival of the fittest.
Where did you find these? I was interested in two of them.
Fascinating.
Try amazon or garage sales
"Put it all the way in deep" SLOWLY, lol love your videos man, thanks you.
Where do you find these can openers. I want one to put with my servivel foods.
I was so early watching this, there were less 50 comments!
Wow 😑
Ulf Knudsen hahahahaLOLOLOL
The first can opener my grandad had one he could open the can silly fast
I really wanna know where he gets his canned food from.
Shop
From Amazon
the third one works really fast n clean cut. like it.
Those rotating ones are genius! So fast, too.
Makes ya really appreciate a P38 or P51
04:22 can opener is still commonly used in the coffee shop
What’s it called
Hey, what's it called
We need to know the brand, year, maker or something!!
"I kinda want to taste this."
Lol
Dud when he said *i like it tight*🤣🤣
They are totally interesting to look at, but I am greatfull they made new ones... Someday I'm going to get an electric safe cut one😁
Unlike modern can openers the center punch ones would work with my arthritis.
I tend to break modern ones wayyy too often by turning too hard 😂 I'd love a center punch one, do you know the name of any good ones?
there you go gopnik survival food right here
lol can imagine 3 ppl squatting in a circle eating sunflower seeds from a can.
8:16 idk why but i laughed to hard at this.
3:00 nice hiss
you know Steve?
I had cousin use a can opener called a church key
Do those can openers come with a free tetanus shot? 😂
I can see how one small slip with most of these can necessitate a visit to hospital emergency...
SEMECHKI HE SAID IT! HE SAID THE THING
Issssss BORIS
@@adam1coleiro *Distant hard bass noises*
"Gopnik survival food here" lol
Some of this can opener's was for open the can by the side, cutting bellow the lid folder, like the can opener used by Victorinox from 1897 to 1945 (1961 in the Soldier version) in their pocket knives.
What type of can opener do you have at 4:21? Is there a brand name on the opener. How do i find this style of can opener.
the 3rd can opener is so sharp and i like it
The blades are dull or semi-dull. Sharpen them up and they will work great.
Man.. I NEED one of those.
"Put it all the way deep... slowly"
You always make me happy
🤣🤣🤦🏼♂️
🤦🏿♂️
My grandmother had one like the first one you tried..lol just easy but it works
I've gotta keep my eyes open for those centerhole style.
I love the can openers, but I think we should talk about the FOOD. I mean, POWDERED BUTTER? the heck man. love the video, btw
I like how the chair is in perfect focus.
That second one terrified me.
i remember this guy i missed him so much
Awesome and amazing stuff .
What happened to the intro? I seriously loved the intro, over the years I get to hear your accent change and become less prominent. I enjoyed the video ☺️
Thanks for sharing this information.
You should compare them to modern can openers, some of them look to be superior.
Interesting video! God bless!
What you best choice for handheld can opener?
"What is this? Oh mashed potato!"
Really? Mash in a can? I thought it was rice. Lol
Powdered butter? Huh?
I like the opener that you stab in the middle of the can lid.
But I'll stick to the modern ones as I think they're a tad safer!!
Looks like mashed potatoes with bread and reconstituted butter tonight with rice and popcorn.
He should have opened a can of gravy and some kinda canned meat to go with that.
This is low key satisfying though
Take your place before it goes viral 😁
3:11 In Soviet Russia, can opens you.
I love all your can opener videos but when you are going around the can leave about a 1/2 inch of can and just open the top and let it connected
I like it when it's tighter!
going to need the names of each of these can openers.
Same.
I love these videos
Great review!
This is giving me the willies!
I thought canned bread was only in spongebob
after completely opens a can..."what is this?"
I miss the intro
Everyone wants to forge bottle openers but nobody wants to forge can openers.
Can you please make a video on best gadgets for kitchen which you like the most
Thumbs up for you for this gadjik
Taras: "I like it when its tight though"
Me: @_@
Advanced tools for back in the day. Lol
Where can I buy the can opener used at 6:42 in the video? Thanks for the help
Where can i get the 5th one that starts at 6:42 in video? And or what is the name of it so i can look it up?
I’ve opened cans with my hunting knife a bunch of times lol
It works okay but leaves a jagged edge.
