I get that the retaking of Mandalore couldn't be simple and that the Mandalorians needed some kind of conflict to prove their newfound unity, but Gideon was done. What made him intimidating is that he went up against this warrior culture without their armor, without their weapons, and still came out on top. Din Djarin already kicked his butt. He was defeated. At this point, he's just a sad madman with a god complex and an unhealthy obsession with Mandalore. He wants the Darksaber back but is responsible for destroying it not five seconds later.
Can you just imagine for a second if the empire had created such killing machines as the sentinels from The Matrix or the sentinels from X-Men Days of Future Past it would be a living hell
Such a build up to such a disappointing end. The last few episodes of Mandalorian and the disappointing execution of Ahsoka was just a huge let down for Thrawn and Gideon.
the final episode wasn’t really good. i was hoping at the very end we would see one of Gideon’s clones survive or a little more far fetched star killer base obliterating mandalore after din and grogu left 💀. not the best season but could of been worse.
Bro what, Starkiller Base doesn't even exist yet. In Resistance show which is closer to the sequels they're still testing how to core out the superlaser inside the planet without cracking it open.
