Still didn’t want to deal with the gas tank, but I needed to make a bumper for the rear, so that’s what I did. Pretty simple, but it seams to function the way it should.
You bring up Diablo blades there’s a guy at work that swears by them things I’ll go buy one. Cutting metal with that saw instead of a cut off wheel on a grinder is really nice. And save some time. Thanks Jim
Wow, coming along nicely Maxx. 👍🏻
Thanks GB
Looks great 👍 I like it. it’s getting there
Thanks Julio. It is getting there. The list keeps getting smaller.
Now that's a bumper !
I knew you’d be the one to realize how heavy that angle iron was. Lol
It looks good Maxx, will the tailgate hit the hitch once it's installed?
I left the opening for the Pindle hitch, but I never plan on putting one on thanks I was afraid it was gonna look kind of wonky
They made that way from the factory.
Thanks. Yes it is. I learned that after this video but I would’ve made the bumper the same way anyway.
@@maxxbear5014 I agree with you don’t like the asymmetrical look and cut mine to match the other side as well. Just looks better IMOP.
Looks good. 👍Invest in a Diablo blade or other for steel, you’ll thank me later! 😂 I need bumpers that stick out for old guys. 😂👍🕺🏻🇺🇸🦬🍺

Getting closer
i wanna say tail pipe to come out
Well, since I cut that off the driver side was long for a license plate and light the other side the tail pipe came out.
