I'm definitely interested in getting sugar gliders in the future, maybe you can do a "pros and cons" video? Or one talking about their diet? (unless you mentioned that in another video, i still need to binge watch your sugar glider videos) much love! 💕
@@HeyItsZee_ that's an understatement, I have 2 and I've had them for about 8 months and I've already spent like $1,000 on them, and they need 4 hours of attention a day
Had to laugh, I have the same cage for my suggies and had to zip tie all the sides as well. Waaaay too easy for them to open. Love your setup. You must have some very happy suggies :)
*TO ANYONE WHO WANTS GLIDERS, don't get Sugar Gliders if you can't spend HUGE amounts of time and money on them. Suggies are expensive and time consuming. They MUST have another cagemate... otherwise they'll mutilate themselves -- aka chew off their own limbs. It's best to have gliders in a "group" so they don't self-harm. They aren't like hamsters. ALL (and I mean all of my gliders) have come from college students/kids who thought that they'd be able to take care of them because they're nocturnal animals, but they weren't able to care for them properly. Sugar Gliders need: supplements, exotic vet visits, nail trimmings, fresh veggies and fruits daily, large cages, huge wheels that don't have bars, fleece cage sets, bonding pouches, treats, tents, and "bonding time". They're cute as fuck, but they're exotics. They need EXTRA care and attention. Most people want them, but most people shouldn't have them. They require extreme care, and most people don't even know about that before getting them. So, most Suggies end up at shelters/rescues or they're set "free" into the wilderness where they ultimately die. I'd advise anyone under the age of 30 not to get Sugar Gliders unless your life revolves around animals (like mine does), or unless you can take care of them with 100% certainty.* Just like Hedgehogs, Sugar Gliders are sold from stores simply to make money without any information/help/advice given out to the buyers. I love my Suggies, but they are so much work, and I didn't even know what I was getting into when I got my first pair. They're awesome, but they aren't for people that want "simple" pets. I hope this helps and informs you, and I hope that I don't sound bitchy. I'm just being honest, and I'm trying to spread information to those that need it.
Elise_ Is_AWESOME723 Yeah. They get depressed and will self-mutilate. They'll chew off their own toes, feet, legs, and tails. I'd say try to get 3. A lot of people will rehome or sell theirs in pairs/groups. Just be warned, they are seriously SO much to care for. If you have school or work then I wouldn't get them.
Most resources i've looked into says Horizontal bars are better for them because they can climb, and hang on easy, where as vertical bars in bird cages they could slide down the bars and get lil rug burns on their paws.
Misinformation probably from someone selling a cage with horizontal bars. It doesn’t matter what kind of bars as long as it’s a safe metal and they aren’t rusted and the spacing isn’t too large
I use an Easter pail for kids for crickets to go in . I hang it in CAGE with cover has hole for gliders to go in . They love foraging for worms and crickets in there
I absolutely love the variety of food you give them. Their cage looks amazing and it looks like you take great care of them. I saw a video of yours once about some pet snails you had. What happened to them? Also are sugar gliders very active?
Lol I dont understand the reply to your comment since you never even asked about them being nocturnal 😂 Yes sugar gliders are very active. And I couldn't keep the snails because it caused a big fruit fly problem in my house.
You get what you pay for with cages. Most GOOD cages are around 300 us dollars. Im not surprised that was so cheap, considering all the problems it has. I lucked out with a VERY good cage for 200 dollars.
Hello! Love your channel! I was wondering what kinda of plastic mesh you made that cute play cube out of. Is it just your ordinary crafts plastic mesh and some yarn?
Hey guys question Im thinking about getting a pair but I want to keep them in a wooden terrarium, 60x60x180cm. Can you keep them in a terrarium or does it has to be a cage?
hello, i am going to be a brand new sugar glider mommy in march and i was wondering if you could make a cage cleaning video as well as how you set up the bottom of their cage where the wood (or paper is at in that removable tray) as in how much to put in there what types of supplies i can put in there. i am trying to do as much research as i can before i bring my baby or babies home.
Can you pleaseeeee tell me where to get the nail trim assocaire for birds? I have sugar gliders and been looking for it soo long!!!! Awesome video going to order the 13pieces set!
I live in new Jersey there's a pet store exotic pets store that has suger glitters but I don't know if there are breeders in new Jersey I was thinking about getting two females but I live in Apt blinging
Hi, was wondering if you used any specific cleaning products when cleaning their cage? Also I've had a few people tell me that they spend a large proportion of the night barking, is this the case with yours?
Hey I’m getting some sugar gliders for my birthday could you make a video about more about them I’ve been doing some research and can’t find everything I need and if you don’t want to make a video could you at least message me and give me some information

Is the Cage Good for sugar gliders that you do in your link?
hi there! i am interested in getting sugar gliders and I was wondering if you had any advice on how much of different foods so they dont smell bad?
Please dont feed an animal the wrong food just to try to change the smell of the animal. Either the animal is for you or it isnt. This is not a good pet for you
3:39 was it mad?
