Immaculate. A guy who can drum that well and carry Steve Perry's vocal melody is beyond impressive. Glad Dean came through his troubles and got back out there. Way too talented to languish in obscurity. Personally I prefer Journey without a frontman -- makes it easier for them to dive off into jams and instrumentals.
Steve was a drummer. He would stand in for Ansley and Steve Smith during practice if they wanted a break. Dean is a great vocalist but he would not be able to do 'double duty' for extended periods of time; ie concert tours. That is too much to ask of anyone.
Legend has it, Neal wrote this song sitting on the hood of a car while the band made a pit stop in New Mexico or somewhere. Not sure if that's true, but it's a great story. My favrorite Neal Schon solo with Journey.
These guys are living 30 yrs in the past. Can’t admit that Journey died when Steve Perry left. They are nothing but a STEVE PERRY TRIBUTE BAND...he made them and his leaving broke them. Why else replace him with sound a-likes again and again. Doing it to keep big headed Neals ego alive...
Playing the drumms and singing in a high pitch, takes a while lot of talent, and Castronovo blow those in that concert minds, and those watching it on their phones, really your going to dismiss all that talent on that stage, WOW!!!!!!

The way Jrny should have been sounding for the last 20 year's...
Beautifully played. Awesome.
Such a Santana ending!
Everyone must have brought extra memory cards for their phones
Good old memories.. And quite a tough one to sing! Soundman could've done a better job though..
